Men have pills, pumps, implants, shots, creams, lozenges, therapy, and other treatments.
Meanwhile, women are begging to be heard, believed, not gaslight and ultimately not just given a pill but an actual treatment plan that helps them with their symptoms and provides some semblance of wellbeing.
We know it’s happening for some women who find the right provider but for others it’s still not available, limited, restricted or not recommended.
It’s beyond time for real help and support. Women deserve it too.

I guess before I was a people-pleaser. I liked being able to help out everwhere I could even it meant running myself ragged. now that I'm in menopause, you can't get that same effort out of me even if you bribed me with a juicy steak and a massage. Do it yourself.
She really knew how to come out of nowhere with those surprise gifts. Just like a hotflash 🫠😅

It gets to a point. You’re nice and polite in the face of innocuous B.S. or outright sh*t. And then you go through perimenopause and the filter no longer fits. You get tired of just being nice and polite to people who push your buttons. You decide, enough is enough —> exit chat.

We focus so much on the hormonal changes but there is the other shift that happens during perimenopause that often doesn’t get talked about enough. That is the lifestyle changes we begin to make as a result. Staying in instead of going out, being less available to people who waste your time, speaking your mind when before you’d stay quiet, protecting your peace more than staying somewhere you feel uncomfortable. You are allowed to become who you want to be. So, be you.

For every woman, hormones rule your day to day. When you hit your 30's those hormones start to become a bit less predictable or if they weren't consistent or predictable before, you'll soon start to feel it more in symptoms and life changes that gradually or suddenly become nuisances. Beyond your 30's those hormones begin to decline and disappear and that becomes a whole other story.

Seriously was not expecting the sudden onset of tears over commercials and fuzzy blankets! Before menopause, I was controlled, always collected, never an "emotional person" then suddenly waterworks at random, super inconvenient times!
Now my hormone provider has me "regulated thank goodness!
Who’s requesting compounded estradiol from their provider??
At least there is an option until this back order is resolved.
Our provider says it’s a great option to help continue getting estradiol. Cuz what we’re not going to do is go back to those hotflashes and mood changes 😤
Assessments still need to be done. Labs still need to be drawn, right? Don’t just throw estrogen at women without first making sure that’s what they really need.
Hormone imbalances are so complex and some women need more than estradiol to manage their symptoms. For other women they don’t need estradiol at all! They actually need to counterbalance it.
Listen to women. Hear what they tell you first and then decide what they need period.
