I have had a ton of guests arriving late lately, so I want to clear some things up✨

I am an appointment-ONLY salon. When you book with me, you are selecting a specific date and time that is reserved specifically for you.

I am also typically back to back with clients, so I do not have 15 minutes of extra time built into every appointment.

The fact that I allow up to 15 minutes before applying a late fee and potentially cancelling your appointment does not mean you have a 15-minute window to arrive. That cutoff was put in place because clients were consistently arriving 10–15 minutes late, and I had to establish a boundary to protect my schedule and the clients who come after you.

Those 15 minutes may be the only time I have that day to eat, complete a consultation, clean and reset my space, prepare for my next guest, use the restroom, or simply take a breath between appointments.

When you arrive late, it doesn’t just affect me. It affects every client scheduled after you.

One late appointment can put me behind for the entire day. Then I’m left trying to play catch-up and accommodate everyone else who showed up on time and respected their appointment.

And I want to be clear that this goes both ways.

I understand that things happen. If I am personally running behind with a guest, I will let you know in advance and accommodate you when possible because I respect your time, too.

I don’t expect anything from you that I wouldn’t expect from myself.

But just as I communicate with you when something on my end affects your appointment, I ask that you communicate with me when something on your end is going to affect mine.

At the end of the day, you scheduled this appointment. Your appointment time is the time your service is scheduled to BEGIN — not the time you should be walking through the door.

Please plan accordingly, give yourself enough time to arrive, and respect the schedule that has been created for you and the clients who come after you.

My time matters. Your time matters. And the time of every client booked after you matters. 🤍
