A friendly but very important reminder to my clients as we go into sick season: please do not come in for your appointment if you are sick.

I completely understand that life gets busy, schedules are hard to rearrange, and sometimes you may think a little cough, sniffle, or “I’m feeling better” isn’t a big deal. But for my family, getting sick can be much more serious.

I have a 3-week-old baby, as well as my 3.5-year-old, who is about to start taking immunosuppressant medication for her JIA. She also has a heart condition, which means illnesses can carry additional risks for her. They come to work with me so are directly exposed as well, not just by whatever I bring home. Most of my clients are also aware of the health issues I’ve been dealing with for the past year and a half and that my mom who also works at the salon is in heart failure.

I love seeing all of you and appreciate your business more than you know, but I also have a responsibility to protect my family and keep them as healthy as possible, now more than ever.

If you have a fever, cough, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, sore throat, a contagious illness, or simply know you’re coming down with something, please reach out before your appointment. I am always happy to work with you to reschedule when possible.

Late night post because having a Newborn means I’m awake all hours of the night✨

I have gotten several messages from clients wondering if I’m back to work yet, good news is YES! I’ve been back for over a week now and taking clients like normal again (I let most of my regulars know, but apparently forgot to make a post on my business page last week oopsie)! Miss Kaydence will be 2 weeks old (on the 23rd) so I’m still freshly postpartum, but doing my best to take as many clients as usual.

Here are my booking days with availability for the rest of September💗

If you’re needing a day not listed, send me a message and I’ll see what I can do! My day availability will be a bit more open the next few weeks while I have my husband home to help me with the girls. When he goes back to work I’ll have both girls at the salon with me so my scheduling may start to look different come mid October to accommodate that.

I still have a 6:30pm appointment available tonight for anyone that wants it! Any service. 💗

I somehow still haven’t had baby girl yet. I think I jinxed myself lol. Tomorrow is my due date + my third membrane sweep so I’m hopeful this week is the week. That means I likely will be out of the salon starting tomorrow for 1-2 weeks (other than previously scheduled regular client appointments).
