Happy National Boss’s Day to our incredible leader, Joan Burge! ❤️
Today, the ODI Team had a little fun celebrating the woman who inspires, challenges, encourages, and leads us every day!
We started the morning with bagels and flowers, followed by a very special surprise: a custom AI-generated song written just for Joan, celebrating her personality, accomplishments, and all the things that make her one of a kind! 🎶 Watching her hear it for the first time was definitely a highlight of the day. (Be sure to watch the video!)
And because no celebration is complete without something sweet, we wrapped up the afternoon with cake!
Joan, thank you for your vision, your passion, your generosity, and the countless ways you encourage us to grow personally and professionally. You lead with high expectations, a big heart, and an unwavering belief in what we can accomplish together.
We're grateful to be part of the team you've built, and we hope today reminded you just how much you're appreciated!
Happy Boss’s Day, Joan! 🌹

One year ago today, I held my dream in my hands! ❤️💄
I'll never forget the excitement of unboxing my very first copies of Red Lipstick ON! After pouring my heart and life experiences into those pages, seeing the finished book was an unforgettable moment.
And what an incredible year it's been!
We've launched The Gloss newsletter, empowerment journals, T-shirts, signature lipstick and merchandise, our Book Club, Real, Raw & Radiant Experiences, and the Blueprint for a Bold, Radiant Life course.
But the greatest accomplishment isn't any of those things.
It's YOU. It's the community we've built and the lives we've touched.
Every story you've shared about finding your confidence, rediscovering yourself, or finding the courage to pursue a dream reminds me why I started this journey.
Red Lipstick ON! was never really about makeup. It's a mantra for living with courage, confidence, authenticity, and joy.
THANK YOU for making this first year so meaningful! I can't wait to see what year two brings.
And because anniversaries deserve presents, I'm celebrating with 20% OFF my Blueprint for a Bold, Radiant Life course through October 31!

WHY AM I STILL WORKING?
People ask me this all the time! My answer? I AM enjoying life! And working is one of the reasons why!
I love what I do. My work gives me purpose, fulfillment, and the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. I still have a tremendous passion for helping others grow, build confidence, and become the best version of themselves. But that's not the only reason I keep working.
I love being mentally challenged! Running a business keeps me thinking, learning, creating, solving problems, and exploring new ideas. As we get older, it's so important to keep our minds active. I have no desire to become stagnant or spend my days scrolling social media and watching Netflix!
I love the people! The friendships, relationships, conversations, laughter, and connections I've made through my work are priceless. Staying socially connected is especially important as we chronologically age.
I still get excited about achieving goals! There is nothing quite like taking an idea that started in my imagination and watching it become a reality. I still have dreams to chase, new things to create, and goals I want to accomplish.
And yes, I still enjoy earning a paycheck It gives me the freedom to enjoy some of life's extra pleasures. Nothing wrong with that!
And for those who wonder when I'm going to start traveling and enjoying myself, I already do! I take time off when I want. I travel, dance, laugh, spend time with people I love, and enjoy new adventures.
I've always believed in working hard AND playing hard! Now, I realize not everyone feels this way about their work. Some people can't wait to retire, and that's perfectly fine. We all have different dreams.
But I don't believe reaching a certain age means we have to stop growing, contributing, learning, or pursuing our passions. I'm not winding down. I'm still dreaming BIG!
I'm living my ENCORE YEARS. There is still so much life to live, so much to experience, and so much I want to accomplish.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 14
I don’t think most of us are actually missing what we need. I think we’ve just stopped paying attention to it.
The confidence is in there. So is the courage, the wisdom, and the strength that got you through everything you’ve already survived. It didn’t disappear. It’s just been sitting quietly, waiting for you to look its way again.
Tomorrow marks one year of the Red Lipstick ON! community, and honestly, this is exactly what this whole year has been about. Helping women find their way back to what was in them the entire time.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 13
Nobody is going to hand you permission to want what you want. I learned that the hard way, more than once.
You don’t need someone else to approve the business idea, the career change, the relationship boundary, or the version of your life that looks different from what everyone expected. You’re allowed to just decide, and then go build it.
Whatever you’ve been waiting for someone else to approve, today might be the day you stop waiting.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 12
Three things to carry into today.
CONFIDENCE, not because you have it all figured out, but because you’re capable of figuring out whatever comes next.
INTENTION, choosing your actions instead of drifting through them.
AUTHENTICITY, showing up as the real version of you, not the edited one.
You don’t need all three perfected. You just need to keep reaching for them, especially on the days that make it hard.
Red Lipstick ON! However today goes, let it be honestly yours.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 11
Confidence isn’t something you either have or you don’t. It’s something you build, the same way you’d build any other habit, one small repetition at a time.
The same goes for trusting yourself. Self-reliance isn’t a personality trait you’re born with. It’s a daily practice, made of small moments where you choose yourself instead of waiting for someone else to give you the green light.
This is exactly the kind of practice we build inside the RLO Course, piece by piece, week by week. Confidence as a behavior, not a feeling you’re waiting to stumble into.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 10
If you need to slow down this week, that’s not the same thing as giving up. I want you to hear that clearly.
Rest isn’t the opposite of progress. It’s part of it. Every version of strength I’ve ever built in my own life came with pauses built into it, moments where I stepped back on purpose so I’d have something left to give the next stretch.
Wherever you are this week, a pause counts as moving forward too.
We Don't Need January Energy to Finish December. We Need October Wisdom.
Here we are in the final stretch of 2026. Can you believe it? Nine months behind us and less than three months to go!
Everywhere we turn, we're hearing: Finish strong! Push harder! Get those goals accomplished!
I believe in working hard and going after your dreams. Anyone who knows me knows that! But after decades of building a business and navigating life's unexpected twists and turns, I've learned that finishing strong isn't always about doing MORE.
Sometimes it's about being more intentional with our time, our energy, and our choices.
Lately, I've been thinking about two qualities that have carried me through some of my toughest moments: Courage and staying power.
Courage is what helps you act. Staying power is what helps you continue.
Courage gets you started. It's taking the risk, making the decision, having the difficult conversation, or trying something you've never done before.
Staying power is what happens when the excitement wears off, things get difficult, and you wonder whether you have what it takes to keep going.
Believe me, I've needed plenty of both! And I've learned that sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is change your approach, ask for help, or give yourself permission to rest.
So as we move through these final months, here's what I hope you'll remember.
You don't have to accomplish everything. You don't have to say yes to everyone. And you don't have to carry every expectation you placed on yourself back in January.
Look at how far you've already come. Celebrate what you've accomplished, including the little victories that nobody else knows about.
And please, don't miss your life while you're busy finishing the year!
October is your life. November is your life. December is your life.
Make time to laugh. Call a friend. Go dancing. Take that little trip. Try something new. Do something just because it makes you happy!
I still have goals I'm pursuing before December 31. But I'm also going to enjoy these next few months. Because life isn't just about what we accomplish. It's about how we live along the way.
Here's my question for you: What is ONE thing you want to make time for before this year ends, simply because it brings you joy?
