Bring wellness to the workplace. 🙌

Yesterday I had the opportunity to provide on-site chair massage for a local organization, and it was a great experience!

Corporate chair massage is an easy way to give employees a chance to step away, reset, and relieve some of the tension that builds up during the workday, all without leaving the workplace.

On The Geaux Massage is now booking corporate wellness events, employee appreciation days, office events, conferences, and more.

Sessions can be tailored to fit your team, schedule, and event.

Interested in bringing chair massage to your workplace? Send me a message or give me a call and let’s talk about what would work for your organization.

Sunday Thought...

One of the biggest compliments I receive from clients is:

"I can tell you know what you're doing."

That means more to me than they probably realize.

Every massage is different because every person is different. My goal isn't simply to help someone relax—it's to listen, understand what's bothering them, and tailor each session to their specific needs.

Whether you're dealing with stress, muscle tension, headaches, or the aches that come from everyday life, I believe taking the time to understand the why behind the discomfort can make all the difference.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted On the Geaux Massage with your care. Your referrals, reviews, and kind words continue to help this small business grow, and I'm truly grateful.

I hope everyone has a great week ahead!

☀️ Happy Saturday!

One of the things I enjoy most about being a massage therapist isn’t just helping people feel better, it’s getting to meet so many interesting people.

Every client has a different story, a different career, and different goals. Some are recovering from long work weeks, some are training hard in the gym, and others simply need an hour to slow down and recharge.

No matter the reason, it’s always rewarding to see someone get off the table feeling better than when they walked in.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your care and supported On the Geaux Massage. Your referrals, reviews, and kind words mean more than you know.

I hope everyone has a safe, relaxing weekend!

💡 Massage therapy is about more than just relaxation.

While a massage can certainly help you unwind, it can also play an important role in keeping your body moving and feeling its best.

Whether you’re dealing with muscle tension from work, soreness after workouts, stress, or those stubborn “knots” that never seem to go away, therapeutic massage may help improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and promote recovery.

Your body works hard for you every day. Taking care of it isn’t a luxury—it’s an investment in your health.

If you’ve been putting off taking care of yourself, maybe this is your sign to start.

Serving Lake Charles and the surrounding areas.

💡 Did You Know?

Your muscles have a memory.

If you sit at a desk all week, drive for hours, work construction, or spend weekends doing yard work, your muscles begin adapting to those positions.

Over time, that can lead to:
• Tight shoulders
• Neck stiffness
• Low back pain
• Limited flexibility
• Recurring muscle "knots"

Many people assume it's just part of getting older.

Often, it's simply the result of asking your body to do the same thing over and over without giving it a chance to recover.

Movement, stretching, strengthening, and massage therapy can all play an important role in helping your body move the way it was designed to.

Take care of your body—it has to last a lifetime.

💡 Did You Know?

Stretching isn’t always the answer to tight muscles.

Have you ever stretched a muscle over and over, only to have it feel tight again an hour later?

Sometimes the muscle isn’t actually “short.” It may be tight because it’s overworked, guarding an injury, or full of trigger points.

That’s why simply stretching doesn’t always provide lasting relief.

Finding the reason a muscle is tight is often more important than stretching it.

Whether it’s stress, poor posture, repetitive movements, or muscle imbalances, addressing the underlying cause can make a big difference.

Your body is smart, it usually has a reason for doing what it’s doing.
