How about Muddy Waters for $3 a seat at Carnegie Hall? A fine way to spend a Monday evening I suppose :) I cannot believe how tiny the ad was.... the days of newspapers - I miss them.

Sundays with the big paper - as a kid I would read to comics and dream of having my own comic strip... which I had for a few years, but it never took off - then I would read the box scores of baseball and the sports transactions to see who got cut or traded. No instant info back in those days, you found out when you found out.

And that was OK.

The paper at one point was fairly neutral - just the facts... they kept the opinions to the OP-Ed page and more or less let a person think for themselves. Progress ain't always progress - but here we are :)
