I have a confession to share,

I got this rad T from my work in celebration of nurses week-fo FREE!
Anyone that truly knows me, knows I like FREE haha😂 -maybe it’s the mom in me, the late college bloomer or whatever but life is expensive haha
The message on the shirt is clear, and simply stated,
“NURSES INSPIRE NURSES”
well I can tell you this phrase has a whole new meaning to me, to all nurses in all various work environments!
Nurses have been separated from their loved ones, for a variety amount of time for a multitude of reasonings in this Pandemic. Each day brought on a new shift, a new “normal” and LOTS of unknowns. We all love our families, our patients and are proud and humbled to serve you all. We had no idea how the story would play out for us or our families, but we are proud & humbled to serve and are 100% committed to helping our patients & their loved ones in all various healing processes!
I almost didn’t post this because I wasn’t sure if it was flattering, but the truth is, the message is TRUE, I personally am INSPIRED by all of you nurses today, and everyday for your bravery, vulnerability, commitment, love, grit, sacrifice and let’s be honest warped sense of humor 😂
Thank you for ALL you do, not just nurses day, but everyday,

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful momma 💗 Thank you momma for ALWAYS holding me to a higher standard. I know growing up I couldn’t see that, but thank you for never allowing me to settle, give up or in. My inner momma bear is strong because of you!

I’m incredibly proud of these two! Lawyer-soon to be licensed attorney, and ANYTHING sets her mind too!

It is heartbreaking that we as a people have to blow up social media to raise awareness for murder in our country! We have to make every detail known, and do it in NUMBERS to get Justice?! I will never know how Aahmaud’s mother, family have gone through. I can however have a voice and stand up for injustice! EVERY LIFE matters! I pray for the hatred to cease, hearts to be changed, and love to live in and give to the future generations. We walk in honor of Ahmad, for all those lives taken.

Lilacs from my beloved Grandma Baker💛
Years ago my grandma planted these beautiful lilacs and today my parents live in the house my Grandpa built. My sweet momma hand picked for me , my aunt Phyllis to share these beautiful flowers from Grandmas Lilac bush💜 I miss my sassy grandma, Memaw Lori more than words I say. I’m blessed and forever grateful for the mothers in my life who have not only poured into me and empowered me to be the momma/woman I am today but for my children as well. Love to all y’all mommas- our love lives on💕

I don’t always get my 30 min of move my body in each day, but when I do, I FEEL ALIVE!
Today, it was 15 lite cardio on FB Live thanks to Carley from the YMCA, and a nice brisk walk w/my girl 🏃🏻‍♀️

I have never REGRETTED serving my body😘 (ps. It’s fun do do it with old jams too😉👍🏼)
