She has turned out to be so sweet, and her wool is great for art, dolls and costume projects.
She deserves a name that fits her better than "Jatila".
So I've changed her name to Pulinda.
When I was painting a picture of Srimati Radharani and speaking about the love of the Pulinda girls, (how they go to forest to gather cow dung paddies and then when they see kunkum from Sri Krsna and the Gopis, they smear it on their chests and feel so blissful)
Srila Gurudev told me to make the Pulinda girls very beautiful like "Miss Africa".
So this little humble dasi is no miss Africa, but she is black and she is part Dorper, which is a sheep from South Africa. 🙂
