Kansas City’s West Bottoms came alive Sunday as the Chicano Art Festival and Lowrider Show brought together lowriders, artists, local businesses, food, music and the community to celebrate Chicano culture and tradition.
For many attendees, it was more than a car show — it was a celebration of identity, history, family and Latino-owned businesses. Artists from outside Kansas City also came to share their work and tell Chicano history through art.
