1️⃣ Spot remaining for our Chicken CSA! If you’re on the fence about joining here is some info on why our farm raised chicken is superior to conventional meat…

As you know, not all chickens are raised the same way. The difference between conventionally raised poultry and non-GMO, antibiotic-free, pastured chicken can affect nutrition, food quality, and even long-term wellness. Here's why making the switch matters. Pastured chickens are raised outdoors with access to natural forage 🌳, sunlight ☀️, insects 🐜, and grasses 🌱— a more natural environment than confined indoor operations.

Research has shown that pasture-raised poultry can contain:
Better omega-6 to omega-3 balance
More vitamins such as Vitamin E
Increased antioxidant content
Higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids

These nutrients support:
Heart health 🫀
Brain function 🧠
Reduced inflammation 🫁
Immune system support 👩🏼👦🏼

Food quality starts with how animals are raised, and nutrient density often reflects that. Chicken is one of the most commonly consumed proteins in America, which means the quality of that chicken matters.

Choosing non-GMO, antibiotic-free, pastured chicken is about more than labels — it's about prioritizing nutrient density, reducing unnecessary chemical exposure, and supporting a healthier food system overall.

The goal isn't perfection. It's making more intentional choices that align with long-term health.

And sometimes, better health starts with something as simple as what's on your plate tonight.
