Four years. 🤎

I didn’t fully understand what I was beginning when I started Serene Babes Boutique in 2022.

Four years later, I’ve had the privilege of supporting more than 30 families through some of the most vulnerable, emotional, and life-changing moments of their lives.

I think about the mothers who have cried with me. The ones who have confided in me that they were scared. The families who trusted me enough to invite me into their birth space. The mothers who later told me that simply having me there made a difference.

I think about the newborns I’ve held in my arms. The tiny babies who gave me some of their very first smiles. The mothers I’ve sat beside while we worked through those first latches together. The quiet postpartum moments that probably looked ordinary to everyone else, but meant so much in that room.

And, there are so many families and moments that come to mind when I think about these last four years.

Every birth has been different. Every mother has been different. Every family has taught me something.

Building Serene Babes Boutique hasn’t always been easy, and these four years haven’t looked exactly how I imagined they would when I started. But when I think about the families who have trusted me, the babies I’ve watched enter this world, and the moments I’ve been allowed to be a part of, I’m reminded of why I started.

So today, I’m celebrating 4 years of Serene Babes Boutique.

Four years of learning.
Four years of advocating.
Four years of holding space.
Four years of supporting growing families.

Movement in labor isn’t one-size-fits-all… some clients prefer stillness, others gentle rocking or bouncing. I support what their body is asking for while keeping things safe and intentional.
