And then there were two, again.
Little 4-5 week old Whiskers moving beyond just eating and sleeping and now becoming playful 💜 eating some solid food but still wants her bottle
Dog vs bear! I thought my dog was struck when the bear stood up. But if you slow video down you can see it’s holding its arms back.

Whiskers has given up the bottle and moved to kitten food! Yay. And Auntie Peaches keeps her clean and safe. Won’t let other 2 dogs near her while she’s out of her crate.
Peaches is taking over mama cat duties. I give her bottle and Peaches takes care of the other end. Kittens this young get stimulated to potty by momma cat licking them. Usually I use a tissue but Peaches, while gross, is more efficient at it. And Whiskers appears to like it. They’re bonding

Yay my new separator arrived so I can now distill the lemongrass, lemon verbena and some dried lavender
Three week + kitten learning to lap up formula but still needs bottle. 5th kitten THIS WEEK, but only third that needs bottle. Other 4 went to Msla Wednesday, then on way home got call for this one. Kitten season isn’t ending!

And this is why I missed market. An elk changed his mind and ran into me 😔☹️😏

Won’t be at market today, a silly elk decided to change its mind and turn into the front of my car 😢 I’m ok, but feeling a little stiff in my neck and back. Gonna take a couple muscle relaxers and climb back into bed. Will ask a friend to go back to the car later and see if we can pry up the corner where it’s hitting the tire, should be able to drive it home. Sigh 😔
