The founders, Gary and Karla LaFave have owned and operated successful businesses with 50+ employees. They later felt a call to serve and help others in the capacity of Restoration. Gary was ordained in 1998 to practice Pastoral Counseling and Karla later received a Certification of Special Ministries License which includes Biblical Counseling. They served as directors at a Family Homeless Shelter that served 100+ families a year. They founded and were statewide directors for an International Emotional Healing and Recovery Organization for 10 years. Through the years they continue to study and research the latest available updates in the area of Holistic Healing and Wellness.Their own personal experiences and education have helped develop successful methods in their partnership to work with couples and individuals in the areas that no else has been able to help them. They provide consulting, coaching and counsel both private and through classes & seminars. The areas of focus are: Premarital Counseling and Classes, Marriage Enrichment and Restoration and Biblical Parenting. Stop defending yourself to people who were never interested in hearing the truth. God already knows the whole story.
The Lord saw the manipulation, the lies, the conversations you never heard, and the private damage nobody else knows about.
You may want to explain yourself, expose what happened, and make everyone understand your side.
But you don't have to spend your life correcting every false story told about you.
God knows what people don't know. He saw what happened when nobody else was watching.
Stay honest. Stay kind. Keep your heart clean. Don't let someone else's behavior turn you into someone you're not.
Let God handle the vindication. Let Him bring truth to light in His time. Your responsibility is not to control what everyone thinks about you-it's to remain faithful to who God has called you to be.
You don't need to be loud to be heard by God. He already knows the full story.

Going to church, knowing Bible verses, singing worship songs, or talking about God doesn't mean much if we refuse to let His Word correct & transform us. None of us are perfect. We all struggle & fall short. Genuine faith produces a heart willing to change

Passive acts on fear motivated by anger
Neither one is an act of The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is motivated by Love
It is patient in timing, and kind in action, and both work together to assert what is needed
So learn to mediate with love & assertiveness….. ❤️

Learning more about toxic behavior and how it affects families.
All unhealthy behaviors are rooted in in childhood
A big part is how we responded to discipline or the lack of it.
Maybe there was over correction and under protection - Or, under correction and over protection .
Toxic exists where God’s kind of Love was absent .
God encourages us to handle toxic family members with love, wisdom, and healthy boundaries. While we are called to love and pray for them, it is also important to protect our emotional and spiritual well-being by setting limits on harmful behaviors.
It would not need to get to this level if mom and dad strive to be in agreement in how discipline is executed….but the 2 voices should become one, and not become a mixed message.
A child learns too fast from parents to how they can manipulate a parent when they witness division on issues. Parents, don’t correct each other in front of your children.
Parents resolve your differences, be unified in the disciplines in your home. When one parent speaks, the other should be quick to reinforce what the parent instructed.
Discuss your parenting differences & resolve behind closed doors, and seek parenting advice when potential abuse is a question.
