Just a girl who’s obsessed with making skin make sense.
Let’s be friends. 🩶
I think we’re going to get along!
Glad you found your way here! Now let’s figure your skin out!
Your skin doesn’t know you’re “trying to control oil.” It just knows it’s dehydrated, so it makes more oil to compensate.
Here’s what you should actually be using:
GEL MOISTURIZER — Oily or combination skin. Lightweight, absorbs fast, no greasy film.
Wrong skin: Too light for dry or mature skin needing more richness.
OIL-FREE LOTION — Oily, acne-prone skin. Hydrates without clogging pores.
Wrong skin: Not enough for dehydrated or barrier-compromised skin.
GEL-CREAM HYBRID — Combination skin, oily in some areas and normal in others. Balances both without overloading either.
Wrong skin: Can feel heavy on very oily T-zones.
Skipping this step isn’t saving your skin from oil. It’s creating it.
Not sure which one belongs in your routine? Book a consultation and we’ll figure it out together. Link in bio.

Your cleanser is the first step in every skincare routine.
If you’re using the wrong one, your skin may be working against you before you even apply the rest of your products.
Here’s what your skin might be trying to tell you:
♡ Red & Irritated
Why: Your skin barrier or microbiome may be compromised.
Try: A cream cleanser, oil cleanser, or gentle non-active gel cleanser.
Skip: Harsh foaming cleansers, benzoyl peroxide cleansers, and exfoliating acid cleansers until your barrier has healed.
♡ Oily by Noon
Why: Your skin is producing excess oil—but stripping it isn’t the answer.
Try: A gentle gel cleanser or salicylic acid cleanser if you’re acne-prone.
Skip: Heavy cream cleansers that leave residue or harsh cleansers that leave your skin feeling squeaky clean.
♡ Inflamed Acne
Why: Excess oil, acne bacteria, and trapped dead skin are creating inflammation.
Try: A gentle gel cleanser or a benzoyl peroxide cleanser.
Skip: Rich cream cleansers, abrasive scrubs, or relying on an oil cleanser alone.
♡ Blackheads
Why: Oil and dead skin are becoming trapped inside your pores.
Try: A salicylic acid cleanser.
Skip: Physical scrubs or rich cream cleansers if your skin is oily and congested.
♡ Dull & Pigmented
Why: Dead skin buildup and leftover pigmentation are preventing your skin from looking its brightest.
Try: A mandelic acid cleanser.
Skip: Harsh cleansers that can further irritate pigment or heavy moisturizing cleansers if buildup is the issue.
♡ Congestion Under the Skin
Why: Excess oil, dehydration, and dead skin are slowing normal skin turnover.
Try: A gel cleanser, mandelic acid cleanser, or salicylic acid cleanser.
Skip: Rich cream cleansers or cleansing oils that leave a residue.
Remember—your cleanser won’t solve every skin concern on its own, but choosing the right one creates the foundation for everything else in your routine.

I’m not looking at your acne.
I’m looking at the dehydration that’s slowing your barrier.
I’m looking at the inflammation that’s keeping your skin reactive.
I’m looking at the pebbly texture that tells me dead skin isn’t shedding the way it should.
I’m looking at the clogged pores that haven’t become pimples… yet.
Because acne isn’t the problem.
It’s the symptom.
My job is finding the reason it’s happening.
If you love learning why your skin does what it does—not just which products to buy—you’re in the right place.

Acne Facial
Most people think acne shows up overnight.
It doesn’t.
What you’re seeing today often started building inside the pore up to 90 days ago. That’s why consistency—not quick fixes—is what actually clears acne.
