I’m getting ready for my October event, and honestly, there’s something about preparing a canvas that I love. It’s just me, my paint, my thoughts, and a blank canvas waiting to become something.

Every time I paint, I’m reminded that you don’t have to know exactly what the finished picture will look like before you begin. You just have to start. 🖌️✨

So here’s a little behind-the-scenes moment as I prepare for October. I’m excited to create, excited to share, and even more excited to see what everyone creates when we get together!

What if it looks nothing like you hoped?

I’m learning that trusting God isn’t just trusting Him when the outcome is what I prayed for. It’s trusting Him when the answer changes, the door closes, the timeline shifts, or the ending looks completely different than I imagined.

God is still enough.

Even when I don’t understand.
Even when I’m disappointed.
Even when I don’t like how it ends.

And maybe that’s part of the journey—not just learning how to create, build, and grow, but learning how to hold my expectations loosely and trust the One who sees the whole picture.

I’m reminding myself today: I can keep creating, keep moving forward, and keep trusting God with the outcome. 🤍
