💡 Why do we sometimes decline to work over existing permanent makeup?

Working over heavily saturated or darkened pigment can be challenging because there may not be enough “room” in the skin to safely add more color or make meaningful improvements.

When existing ink is too saturated, adding additional pigment can sometimes make the area look darker, heavier, or less defined rather than improving it.

But every case is different, and there are situations where we can still find a way to improve existing permanent makeup. Please send a clear, well-lit photo or schedule a consultation to discuss options.
