Melasma can be an annoying thing to deal with. Maybe you notice it gets darker during the summer days. That is because heat exposure is one of the main triggers to darken it. Always wear sun protection clothing, SPF, and hats when outdoors!

The process is tricky because when us esthetician mention to “baby” the skin or keep the skin hydrated and moisturized or too use the post products, we mean it. The first picture is 3 days post treatment. This is a perfect example on why aftercare is important. All dead skin cells are moving to the surface. It is ideal to protect the new skin coming up. Using PCA Skin post procedure kit or product recommendations your esthetician gives you isn’t a sale it is used to heal and protect the skin. Hyaluronic Acid will help maintain the skin hydrated and not allow your own to “evaporate”. Vitamin C help prevent any pigmentation from forming and protects the skin. The nice thick moisturizer we provide that helps maintain the moisture and the facial wash helps remove any bit of dead skin without stripping the skin. As always the SPF our number one recommendation.

No, the products you have over the counter (Walmart, Ulta etc) cannot provide you with this type of after care. Over the counter product is mass produced with little activity from the main ingredients. That is why us professionals prefer to put you on what we know works!!!
