The scene: everyone fully booked. One assistant. No front desk just management. Me still behind the chair as an owner
10 interviews a week and 4 trial days for a second assistant.
BUT honestly regardless of all the twists and turns- this week was so inspiring. To have over 20 candidates for the assistant position, 5 for a potential stylist position and the girls rise up to help has showed me no matter what, the show goes on and it gets better and better.

Life Update!
I can’t believe I’ve been doing hair for 17 years and the salon is 2.5 years old and growing so fast!
If you have been my client for a year… or 8, you know I live to make my clients feel and look amazing.
My dedication has always been to do the best I can, and honestly, being overbooked behind the chair and running a business has compromised that. The balancing act def wore me out.
I often do an audit of my life quarterly/ yearly.
“What’s working? What’s not working?”
What’s not working is being distracted when I’m behind the chair and worn out on the days I need to pour into the business. What is working is slowing down and maintaining the same level of attention and experince my clients deserve.
The small change in my pricing will take place March 1st. Thank you for all the support, trust, and love as we grow together!
