The empowerment of choice..

The knowing I can choose to remember the beauty while still recognizing the darkness that grew me.

The choice to know love is also letting go while still continuing to love.

The choice to move forward even when I may be the only one.

The choice to release with grace the me that just had to survive.

To choose to have faith in the things I cannot yet see.

No matter where my choices have came from, I’m still choosing.

I didn’t choose everything that has happened on my journey thus far, but I can choose what to do with it moving forward.

I read this, this morning…

When we plug our emotional energy into something or someone that doesn’t light our soul, yet we are engaged in the security of it….

And when stability is questioned, we release our life force to the fears that are generated by said thing or someone.

For me, I’m learning to recognize the difference as to when I plug into something that’s aligned versus being plugged in out of fear.

Fear of what will people think, what else will I do, that’s not how I was raised, loss of connection, abandonment.

When I can step back and look at this, it’s not personal, it’s truth.

I take full responsibility for my choices, not that any were wrong, but some were chosen with the wrong intentions.

Fear based.

As my faith deepens, I’m realizing no matter what I will be okay and I’m never walking alone.

Listening to a podcast this morning and heard this…

“In the middle of the calling when doubt creeps in, it’s not time to quit, it’s time to ask God for help.”

Man does that resonate.

The middle can start to feel uncertain, then for me I second guess, and start thinking of all the reasons to stop.

This for me is where my faith meets my discipline.

God is with me, he’s just calling in a greater version of me that’s unfamiliar but necessary.

Stepping into purpose continuously requires growth.

I say it all the time, it’s in the reps.

Gods calling does not require more hustle, it requires listening, more stillness.

It’s in the stillness “the middle” we are reminded God has got us.

And it’s often in the stillness where direction is given.✨

Where are you today? Beginning, middle, or the harvest?

If you seek you shall find.

Either negative or positive, one will find it.

If we seek reasons for failure we will find them.

And in my experience, it’s easier to find the negative.

Because it would give me an excuse and a reason to not put forth effort.

But when I look inside for all the reasons that I can, it empowers me to keep going.

It’s so easy to look at what everyone else is doing, especially nowadays, and judge where we are in life.

But you and I, we are not them and no matter what we want to create nobody will do it like you.

You are your super power!
