Multiple clients have shown the same surprising pattern on their Oura Rings during treatment.
Despite receiving focused, (often intense) intraoral work, their rings recorded Recovery Status during the session.
Why?
Because the goal isn't to overpower your muscles.
It's to earn your nervous system's trust.
When your body feels safe, it often lets go of the tension it's been holding onto.

Say "Aaaah". This is Masseter Move 2—a progression from basic self-massage.
Instead of working on the muscle while your jaw stays still, you’ll combine gentle pressure with slow opening and closing. This can help you notice whether the two sides feel or move differently.
Use both hands, keep the motion comfortable, and watch that your jaw does not drift farther to one side as you open.
This is an exploration—not a test you need to pass.

I love when my clients 'see for themselves'. 😄
My client stopped their nightly jaw stretch for one night—and woke up tight again.
Skepticism: gone.
Stretching: resumed.

💬 Things My Clients Say shares real client quotes and treatment room moments that are funny, relatable, surprising, and sometimes unexpectedly insightful.
Does your jaw ever feel like it has been working a double shift?
The masseter is one of the main muscles involved in chewing and clenching. This gentle self-massage may help calm some of that tension—but more pressure is not necessarily better.
Move slowly, stay within a comfortable range, and let the tissue respond rather than trying to overpower it.
Your jaw is part of a bigger story. This is one useful tool, not the whole answer.

Trusted by patients and healthcare professionals.
I'm grateful for every client, every referral, and every opportunity to help someone move with less pain and more confidence.
Thank you, Dr. Ryan, for your kind words and for trusting me with both your patients and your own care.
If you've been dealing with jaw pain, headaches, neck tension, or persistent muscle pain, I'd love to help you discover what's contributing to it.

The muscles around your lips do more than create facial expressions
—they also contribute to everyday movements like speaking, eating, and resting your mouth comfortably... and resting b*tch face.
If the tissues around the corners of your mouth feel tight or restricted, gentle self-release may help improve how they move. Work slowly, using only enough pressure to explore the tissue without forcing it.
When you're finished, notice whether your lips, cheeks, or jaw feel different.
Even small changes in movement can provide useful information about how your facial muscles are working together.

Maybe you're not judging everyone...
Maybe your jaw has just been working overtime.
If your face feels tight, your teeth are constantly touching, or your jaw is always "on duty," those muscles can stay contracted for hours without you even realizing it.
That tension doesn't just change your expression—it can also contribute to:
✨ Jaw pain
✨ Headaches
✨ Neck tension
✨ Worn teeth
✨ Clicking or popping jaws
So before someone asks, "Are you mad?"...
Check in with your jaw.
👉 Lips together.
👉 Teeth apart.
👉 Tongue resting on the roof of your mouth.
Your face deserves a coffee break too.
Neck tension often builds gradually from long periods of sitting, stress, or repetitive postures.
This stretch combines a gentle side bend with a slight rotation to target different areas of the neck and upper shoulder. Let the weight of your arm do the work rather than pulling aggressively.
Move slowly, breathe deeply, and stay within a comfortable range.
Remember to work both sides.
Save this stretch for your next work day or whenever your neck feels tight.

Pain relief isn't just about what happens on the massage table.
One of the biggest compliments I can receive isn't just that someone feels better after a session—it's that they leave understanding why they're hurting and what they can do to help their body between visits.
My goal isn't just to provide temporary relief.
It's to help you understand your body, uncover the habits or movement patterns contributing to your pain, and create a treatment plan that supports lasting results.
Whether you're dealing with chronic neck pain, headaches, TMJ symptoms, shoulder tension, or posture-related discomfort, every session is tailored to you.
✨ Ready to get to the root of your pain instead of just managing it?

A simple adjustment can make a familiar neck stretch more effective.
Before you stretch, create length through your spine and keep your head level. Good alignment helps target the intended tissues without adding unnecessary strain.
Move gently, breathe slowly, and stay within a comfortable range.
Remember to do both sides.
