We’ve invested in a robust medical team that includes a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and registered nurses working alongside our clinical professionals across our network of outpatient treatment centers.

That medical infrastructure allows MVP to provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), ambulatory detoxification, psychiatric services, medical evaluations, crisis stabilization, wound care, medication management, and other innovative practices designed to meet the complex needs of the people we serve.

Celebrating one year of SHIELD and one year of real impact in Delaware County. 💙

SHIELD is a first-of-its-kind, innovative first responder warm handoff program built to support those who protect us.

Last year, Corporal Leo Francis Doyle of the Ridley Township Police Department brought an idea to the MVP Recovery leadership team: What if we could do more to support the first responders who are always there for our community?

Through the support and collaboration of local police departments, police chiefs, FOPs, and the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, that idea became SHIELD—a program we are proud to see making a meaningful difference in the lives of first responders and their families.

One year later, the outcomes speak to the impact:

Over the past three years, Dr. L has played an instrumental role in MVP Recovery’s transformation from an outpatient treatment provider into one of the region’s most comprehensive behavioral health systems.
