Artsy-Craftsy Mother + Detail Oriented Father = Child Passionate in DESIGN

What some people don't know about me is that my interest in design started at a young age. I was the odd 10 year kid that would lock herself in her bedroom and rearrange the furniture on a regular basis. I quickly learned it was a true talent to move a twin size bed with a trundle underneath from one side of the room to the other by yourself. It only made sense when I went off to College to explore a profession in a creative field. In 2005 I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BFA in Interior Design and became licensed in 2008. I fell in love with everything design had to offer - creating a space or element for others to appreciate and enjoy being in. I take pride in the projects I have been apart of and working both domestic and international have expanded my skills and experience. A couple of years ago I was drawn to learning more about the floral world that is out there. I worked on several of my firm’s photo shoots and gained a respect for what flowers did in a space. I have always enjoyed being part of friends and family's weddings and parties whether it was developing a theme for the decor, designing custom invitations and food selections. I took a couple of floral classes to learn the basics and have worked with several local florists for hands-on experience. I look at Interiors and Florals in the same light; they are both opportunities to be creative and bring life to someone's ideas and dreams. Whether I am designing a relaxing environment for someone to come home to OR setting up a room with beautiful arrangements as part of someone's Big Day, I love being part of other's journeys in life. Personal Style: Transitional - I tend to lean more to clean lines with touches of detail. Favorite Flower: Magnolia - They represent a timeless flower with splendid beauty.
