Wax chains and small independent owned wax salons are different. And that’s okay 🩷🫶🏼
In incredibly grateful for everything I learned while working at EWC, and for the lessons I learned. I got to meet my closest Waxer friends and also met Amber and Ruby through them.

Being an employee at a wax chain to now owning my own business has given me the confidence and creative freedom to run my business from a different perspective. This post isn’t to bash or say one is better than the other but to compare the differences on why small businesses operate different. Hope this explains why our policies, appointment times and overall experience may look different. Every appointment helps to support our dreams, our families and continue creating opportunities for me and my team. Forever grateful 🩷

Large wax chains and a small wax salon aren’t the same. And that’s okay 🫶🏼

Most waxers have started our careers at different wax chains, we are incredibly grateful for the experience and every lesson learned. Working at EWC gave me the confidence and foundation for me to start my own business. It helped shaped the esthetician and Waxer I am today.

Owning a salon has given me the opportunity and creative freedom I’ve been needing and also helped give me a different perspective on how I prefer the business to run.

Not trying to bash EWC because I got to meet some of my closest Waxer friends as well as knowing the team that now is part of the melted team. I hope this post helps explain what makes us different and why our policies, appointment times and overall experience is different. Everytime you support local, you are supporting someone’s dreams, supporting their families and creating opportunities. Thank you for the last 5+ years it’s been an honor learning and growing 🩷
