After everything our family has walked through over the past year and a half—losing my father-in-law during an armed robbery, my brother unexpectedly passing in his sleep, and my husband being in a devastating car accident that initially left him paralyzed—I realized something…
I had neglected ME.
Sis, I was so focused on taking care of my husband, my children, our family, and our business that somewhere along the way, I put myself last.
But thank You, Jesus! I’m getting back to taking care of myself too.
For me, doing an extended juice cleanse became a turning point in getting intentional about my eating habits again. I feel refreshed, motivated, and ready to keep going!
Ladies, we can love and take care of everybody else....but we have to remember to take care of ourselves too.
