Apparently, I’ve become a woman with a 10-year hair plan. 😂

I’m slowly transitioning from brunette to gray, and I’m in absolutely no rush. I actually love the idea of letting the process happen gradually rather than making one dramatic change overnight.

So, I guess this is the beginning of my very long gray journey. We’ll see where it takes me. 🤎🤍

Never thought I’d grow up to be a hat lady, but here we are.

Three hats in, and I’m already eyeing neck scarves.

At this rate, my next personality trait is going to be “knows exactly where the shade is.” ☀️

Another craft night, more laughter, and the kind of time together that fills your cup. 🩷

There’s something so good for the soul about putting the phones down, making something with your hands, laughing until your cheeks hurt, and just being with your girlfriends. Life gets busy (especially when you’re always running around doing a million things 😅), so making time for the women you love isn’t just fun. It’s healthy, grounding, and genuinely good for you.

So here’s to friendship, creativity, and making the time for the people who make life sweeter. ✨🫶🏼

While cleaning my office, I found this old clipboard from esthetics school with a motto and few reminders that were part of my journey at TSPA. I had completely forgotten about it.

This piece reminded me how much small visual reminders can matter. The journey is rarely smooth, and there will always be moments when progress feels harder than expected. Having people who support you matters, but we also need little reminders of what we’re working toward and why we started.

Now, this clipboard no longer serves me today, but I’m grateful for the version of me who needed them then. They were part of the path that led me here, and it’s nice to be reminded of how much can change along the way.

Having a board with your goals in front of you really does help.

I decided to try it for Luxe, and it helped me stay focused on what I wanted to accomplish. Now, my ultimate goal has been completed, and I’m so grateful to be in a place where I can erase it and make room for new goals.

If you have a goal you’re working toward, give this a try. Put it somewhere you’ll see it often, and keep it simple. Too tasks or goals at once can feel overwhelming. Top 3 tasks and a few clear goals can keep you focused and moving forward.

Attention to ladies: Getting back into my workout routine feels great, but I’m also learning to expect some detours along the way.

Right now, frozen shoulder and cubital tunnel elbow have put my upper body workouts on pause. I’m sticking with the habits I can maintain and finding alternative exercises instead of pushing through pain.

I’ve also noticed changes in my arms and joints during this perimenopause phase, and they aren’t improving as I hoped.

So I’m opening up to you, asking: What has actually helped you with joint issues or changes in your body during perimenopause? I’d love to hear what has worked for you.

After one year of opening Luxe Cosmetic Studios, I started getting recognized by locals, which marked the completion of my first project: building brand awareness.

Six months later, we became fully leased, accomplishing another major goal, creating opportunities through consistent advertising and networking.

Now, with a little more time on my hands, I can focus on strengthening the business from the inside: improving our administrative systems and bringing in additional help from our amazing team.

I’m incredibly grateful for how far Luxe has come, but we’re just getting started. It’s time to focus on the next chapter and the next projects inside Luxe.
