A Wood’s lamp uses UV light to reveal things beneath the skin’s surface that aren’t always visible to the naked eye.

* 💙 Blue/blue-white: Normal/healthy skin
* 💜 Purple/violet: Dehydration
* ⚪ White: Dead skin/keratin buildup
* 💛 Yellow: Excess oil/sebum
* 🧡 Orange/coral: Porphyrins associated with congestion/acne
* 🤎 Brown/dark: Pigmentation or sun damage
