Olive's Sunset Creations

We finally got snow!! Goats are peeking out from their cozy barn. Good day to make soap!!@

Yesterday, Feb 24, I came home from Prescott Farmers Market with 3 rather wilty lettuces from Growing Vertical. Within an hour of putting them in a bowl of water, they looked like this!! So glad I didn’t pass them up. They will last for at least 2 weeks!!!

Here’s the first cut!’

I am so excited!! We are getting to make the cut of this soap. This is the first Luna swirl for me!

Olive’s Sunset Creations will NOT be at Prescott Farmers Market tomorrow, July 22: It is too HOT plus I have been under the weather. See you Saturday, July 29!!

We don’t spend all our time making soap and lotion. This morning my husband and a friend took a skunk who had been living under a shed out 20 miles and released it to find a new home. Came back with the empty cage!

Remember Elsa? Two years ago she weighed 3 # at birth and was very weak at birth. We raised her inside and even brought her to the Prescott Farmers Market a few times. Now she is a proud Mama to this little cutie!!!!

First time we have seen a bald headed eagle land on a utility pole on the edge of our property.

My girls are due to kid in mid-April. In the meantime I am looking for a source of goat milk for my goat milk products. If you have done or know of some, please comment or PM me with details.
