Ever notice how much gunk builds up when you’re taking off old acrylics? It’s not just the nails — it’s the buildup you didn’t even realize was sitting there.
That’s how life can be too.
Unhealthy habits. Draining people. Old energy that’s been clinging to you longer than it should. You don’t always notice it while you’re in it… but when you start removing it? Whew. It’s a process.
Sometimes it’s messy. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. Sometimes you’re like “why is this so hard to get off?” 😭
But just like with these nails, I’m not meant to carry that forever.
As I gently remove this buildup, I’m also choosing to release what no longer aligns:
✨ habits that keep me stuck
✨ energy that feels heavy
✨ connections that don’t pour back into me
Healing isn’t always pretty, but it is intentional.

My anytime of the year nails.
I didn’t want to go with the typical fall colors so I went with pastel yellow.
These babies lasted close to 5 weeks.
Some techniques I used are ombre, embellishments, and glittery polkadots.
Do you like the “traditional” colors every season or like to switch up?
