It is many things but ultimately, it is the brain child of an overworked, overly stressed, self-neglected single Mom who one day was given the gift of a massive lay-off and the freedom to explore her artistic passions. We want to share, inspire, encourage, embolden the creative spirit. Canvas, yarn, paint, pottery, paper crafts, and more are all welcome! Please share how your craft feeds your soul! My Story:
I had dabbled in commercial art and architectural drafting in High School, however I never felt 'artistic' enough to consider myself an artist. I guess I really didn't know the definition. I couldn't draw!! Shouldn't you be able to 'draw' and have a degree to be given such a title? After 17 years in clinical research and becoming a Mom overnight (literally!), I found knitting and crocheting was not enough to feed my spirit, so one day I bought some paint and a canvas and I have been in love ever since. I focused on the pleasure and freedom that came with my artistic expression, and not technique. ART is my therapy! And I want to spread the good news! I want everyone to feel confident in their creative expressions no matter the medium.
