Over the last year, God has shown me something I will never forget.

I’m incredibly thankful for the people He has placed in my life.

So often, we become so consumed by our circumstances that we fail to recognize God’s refining process while we’re in it. Looking back, I can clearly see that God didn’t just remove certain people from my life for a season—He removed them for a reason. And in their place, He has brought people who are helping me walk into this new season of my life.

I pray many of these relationships will last a lifetime. But we all know that sometimes people come into our lives for a season, and sometimes for a reason. Either way, our responsibility is the same: to be deeply grateful while they’re here and to learn everything God wants to teach us through them.

Too often, we focus on what people can do for us instead of asking, “Lord, what are You trying to teach me through them?”

Since I began attending Grace Point Church, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing what biblical leadership looks like. I’ve seen men who are genuinely committed to Christ. I’ve experienced true discipleship. I’ve watched a church intentionally serve men, women, children, and the community with humility and purpose.

What stands out most is that they care about the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. They are creating a place where people are safe to heal, safe to grow, and safe to become who God has called them to be.

Grace Point may still be a young church, but I believe God is doing something extraordinary there. I sense a fire being ignited that will reach far beyond its walls. I believe we will see a profound impact—not only in our community, but perhaps even across our nation.

I’m grateful to be witnessing what God is building. And I’m even more grateful that He never wastes a season. Every relationship, every lesson, every refining moment has a purpose.

A year ago, I didn’t know what our future would look like.

There are moments as a mother when you stop seeing your child as an extension of yourself and begin to see the incredible woman God created her to be. This past year, I have had the privilege of watching that happen.

I’ve watched you stand when it would have been easier to fall. I’ve watched you choose grace over bitterness, truth over fear, and faith over despair.

When I named you, your name reminded me of a simple truth: “Forsaking All, I Trust Him.” Over the years, that meaning has only grown deeper, because you have lived it. Your faith isn’t something you talk about—it’s something you’ve walked through, one difficult step at a time.

You have become one of the strongest women I know—not because life has been easy, but because you’ve allowed God to shape you through every trial.

I couldn’t be more proud to call you my daughter.

Thank you for loving so deeply, standing so courageously, and reminding me that God’s faithfulness is often seen most clearly in the people He places in our lives.
