Some stories come from imagination. Others come from the deepest parts of our hearts.
The Love of a Father was written from the perspective of a child who longed for a father’s presence, while also honoring the men who choose to show up every single day.
Growing up, I didn’t have my father, but I never allowed that absence to turn into resentment toward fathers or men. Instead, I learned from the men who led with integrity, protected their families, and loved their children well. I learned that being present is one of the greatest gifts a father can give.
This book is for every father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, brother, mentor, and father figure who reminds a child, “You’re loved, you’re safe, and I’ll always be here.”
As I read these pages today, I found myself getting emotional because they reflect the moments I once wished for and the moments I hope every child gets to experience.
