One thing I’ve actually started to normalize? Handing my bride the mirror throughout the appointment.

On her wedding we added something we didn’t try at her trial, so instead of waiting until the very end, I checked in along the way to make sure we were still on the same page. Sometimes it’s a tiny tweak from me, sometimes it’s feedback from my bride—but those small adjustments create the best final result.
