The good thing about going through this is that I’m not the only one and there are other people out there who believe what you’re going through. Those people are the ones you want to surround yourself with. Believers who believe in the power of the human body and in allowing time for the body to rebuild itself stronger than before. I’m a few days late and missed the awareness week but I’m not missing this months awareness

This one isn’t easy to do. In fact it will take time to master and even when you do. You’ll be out to the test. Just remember your control how you react and who you want to be.

Day 3. Portfolio’s live. 100 brands on the list. Delulu but dedicated.
I said I’d show up every day instead of weekly because I need this more than I need comfort right now.
Today: pitched 20 brands, built a list of 100 more, and my portfolio is finally live (link in bio if you want inspo for building your own — the content you’re already posting is the content that goes in there).
Real talk: every like, comment, share, and follow actually means something right now. Not in a cute way — in a “this turns into reach, reach turns into brand deals” way. That’s the actual math behind this.

Day 2. The number went up. I’m still showing up.
Last week I told you I was building my media kit. I didn’t know what that was actually going to cost me — not financially, emotionally.
I co-parent with my kids’ dads, but most days it doesn’t feel like it. Three kids, three different needs, one of me trying to hold it together while building this too.
So here’s the real update: the number did go up. It’s still past due. I reached out to HUD for housing assistance, hoping they can help me close the gap. But I also want to show you what I did build this week — who I reached out to, how I’ve been doing it.
There’s no paycheck for parenting. No reward for showing up every single day. Adding this on top sometimes feels like too much.
But I keep going. Not just for the money — to be more present, to stop feeling so stretched thin. I keep going for my mom, who turns 75 this October. I want to be someone she can lean on.
One day at a time. One step at a time.
