Laced in Lavender Massage Therapy

Sorry if this is long, but I'm in my feelings. Today marks 2 years since the soft opening of my business and this month marks 4 years since I started taking classes for my massage journey. There have been very few times in my life I felt called to do something and this was the first related to a career. I can still remember the feeling of "I need to change my life and have a career that I want to match it". I did school while working over full time hours at a very emotionally, mentally, physically hard job. When I first opened two years ago today, I had the plan to quit that job by the end of the month even though I barely had clients. It was one of those, if I don't do it now then I never will, type of moments and I took the leap into the unknown. I was either going to sink or I was going to swim, and let me tell you the first 6 to 9 months I was barely staying afloat. I did everything I knew how to do to advertise, buying ads on social media, advertising on front porch forum, putting cards at gyms and hotels and other small businesses around the area, chair massages at markets, word of mouth from other clients, etc. But here I am, 2 years later, books are completely full and I am swimming in full motion. Even on days that I wake up exhausted, it does not compare to how I felt when I knew I needed a change. I love doing my job and working with my clients. Words cannot describe how incredibly grateful I am for all of you, the ones who have been with me from the beginning and the ones who found me along the way. And for the instructors at the school I attended. And for my friends, my family, and my husband who have supported my dreams along the way and talked me off the edge when I thought it wouldn't be possible. You all take a part for my success and I am so happy to have this as a career! And lastly for myself. I never thought it would be possible to own my own business and have it be successful. I am proud of myself for working towards what I wanted. Here's to time flying and for more years to come with doing what I was meant to do 💕

Hi all! My friend, Kara Lotus Moon Massage Therapy , will be working select Sundays at my studio! She is currently accepting new clients. Because I am not taking new clients I have been referring new inquiries to her. If you or someone you know is looking for a massage therapist, please reach out to her!

After looking out and seeing that my books are almost full throughout the next couple of months, I have put much thought and the made the decision that as of right now I will no longer be taking new clients!
It is important for me to prioritize my consistent clients who have been on a reoccurring schedule. I would like to note that there may be a temporary delay in between your appointments until they can start to even out again, at which point I am hoping that those who are on a routine schedule will have their spots secured. I want to thank everyone for their patience as I navigate implementing this decision.
I also want to thank every single person who has helped me get to this point. Looking back at this time last year I never would have imagined I would have received this amount of support. My words cannot describe how grateful I am to be on this on this journey and that you all are on it with me!
I will reevaluate this decision in the summer time knowing that we might all want the little extra sunshine and outdoors!
