Another little piece of Studio Lux becoming a home for our four-legged guests. 🐾✨

Brandon has been working on our new safety gate, creating a beautiful boundary that allows our pups a little more freedom while keeping everyone safe and secure.

We wanted something functional without taking away from the beauty and openness of Studio Lux—and I think he absolutely nailed it. 🤍

Little by little, this space is transforming into exactly what it’s meant to be: a place where animals can feel safe, comfortable, adored and completely at home.

Our girl Sammie carries a lot of fear and anxiety in her body. When she becomes overwhelmed, her nervous system can move quickly into fight-or-flight — and what we see on the outside isn’t always the whole story of what she’s feeling inside.

One thing we’ve noticed with Sammie is how much calmer and more settled she can become after her chiropractic appointments, especially when her atlas and upper neck are addressed. 🤍

Today was another reminder for us to look beyond the behavior and ask:

What is this animal trying to communicate?
What does their body need?
What would help them feel safer?

That philosophy is becoming part of the heart behind what we’re creating at Studio Lux.

Grooming can be overwhelming for dogs who are fearful, anxious, sensitive to touch, noise, unfamiliar people, or simply unsure of a new environment. We want to meet each animal as an individual — not just get them through an appointment.

Sammie continues to teach us that sometimes the greatest gift we can give an animal is patience, curiosity, compassion, and the space to feel safe. 🐾✨

Because every beautifully groomed dog is still, first and foremost, a nervous system, a personality, and a little soul deserving to be understood.
