Empire Family,
I need to share some news with y’all and also address some things. I’m stepping away for a while because I have to undergo a major surgery — the kind that demands real recovery, real stillness, and real discipline. I’ll be down for at least 8 weeks, and during that time my posts, responses, and availability will be limited. I’m NOT disappearing — I’m rebuilding.

This summer didn’t just challenge me. It came for everything: my peace, my family, my stability, my strength.
We had plans and they didn’t go the way we had hoped. 😔
We moved 🚛
I lost one of my brothers way too soon with memories that still could have been made 🙏
We stood through terrifying moments with other family members 💜 — their stories to tell if they choose.
I’ve been fighting through an ongoing custody case 👶 👶 👶 while still running an Empire, serving clients, and carrying everyday life on my back.

And through all of that, I kept showing up. I kept working. I kept pushing.

But even warriors need to heal. Even queens need to sit down and protect their throne. My body said “enough,” and I’m honoring that.

When I return, I’m not rushing. I’m not overextending. I’m not breaking myself to be available. For at least the first month back, appointments will be reserved ONLY for my Membership Holders and VIP Members. That’s NOT negotiable. I’m easing in intentionally, safely, and with the respect my body deserves.

Thank you to everyone who has held me up, checked on me, supported me, and trusted me. This Empire stands because of community — and I feel that love even when I’m quiet.

I’ll be back. Not just healed — elevated. Not just standing — unshakeable. Not just returning — reigniting.

This is NOT the end of anything. It’s the evolution of everything.

I am currently out of the salon and on vacation, taking some much‑needed me/family time to rest, recharge, and come back refreshed. While I’m away, I will still be checking messages, but replies may take a little longer than usual as I’m traveling and intentionally slowing down.

Y’all… please gather yourselves because I almost had the whole salon in here crunching on Friskies Party Mix today 😭😂

I was ordering snacks — you know, trail mix, pretzels, the little party mix bags — and I’m clicking away like a responsible business owner. Then I go back to review my cart and see:

“Friskies Party Mix… for Cats & Kittens.”

EXCUSE ME⁉️

I almost fed y’all salon snacks for the feline community.
Imagine y’all sitting under the dryer like, “Mmm this seasoning is kinda different today…” 😭
