Facial rejuvenation at 65 is not about trying to recreate a younger face. For this patient, I focused on the areas that were making her feel less like herself, particularly the heaviness around the eyes and loss of definition through the face and neck.
Her surgical plan combined a Temporal Brow Lift, Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty, SMAS Facelift and Neck Lift, and CO2 Laser Resurfacing. Each procedure addressed a different component of facial aging, from tissue position and eyelid heaviness to skin quality.
As recovery progressed, the changes began working together. Her eyes appeared more open, the face and neck gained cleaner definition, and the skin developed a smoother appearance. Her description of looking “more awake” captures the result particularly well.
What matters in a case like this is that the patient still recognizes herself when healing is complete. The procedures were selected to restore features that had changed with time while preserving the expressions and characteristics that continue to make her face distinctly her own.
Revision Rhinoplasty often requires a different mindset from primary surgery. In this case, my patient already liked the overall character of her nose, so the priority was to address the concerns that remained without unnecessarily changing the features she wanted to keep.
She came to me with persistent nasal asymmetry and difficulty breathing following a previous Rhinoplasty. Correcting those issues required attention to both the external alignment of the nose and the internal structures affecting function.
I performed a Revision Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty, using her own rib cartilage to provide the additional structural support needed for the correction. The surgical plan was built around creating better alignment and improving her breathing while respecting her existing nasal shape.
Sometimes the most successful revision is defined by restraint. Instead of redesigning the nose, I focused on correcting what was interfering with its appearance and function while preserving what the patient already felt was right.
For this patient, Breast Augmentation was about finding the right relationship between added volume and her natural proportions. She wanted a fuller breast shape, but it was equally important that the result still felt appropriate for her frame.
I selected her implants by considering how size, profile, and placement would interact with her existing breast tissue and chest dimensions. These decisions influence not only fullness, but also how naturally the breast transitions into the surrounding body.
As her tissues healed and settled, the result developed into the soft, balanced contour she had envisioned. She also noticed a meaningful difference in how she feels wearing everyday clothing, formal outfits, and swimwear.
For me, implant selection is successful when the patient feels that the result belongs to her body rather than simply looking like added volume. If you have questions about Breast Augmentation or implant selection, leave them in the comments and I’ll be happy to answer.
Revision facial surgery is rarely about simply “doing another Facelift.”
In a patient who has already undergone surgery, I have to account for existing scar tissue, previous tissue repositioning, changes in facial volume, and how the face and neck have continued to age over time.
In this case, nearly eight years after her previous Face and Neck Lift, the plan needed to address several different layers of aging at once. That is why I combined a Deep Plane Facelift and Deep Neck Lift with a Brow Lift, Upper Lip Lift, Fat Transfer, and CO2 Laser.
Each procedure had a specific role, from restoring deeper support and neck definition to improving volume and skin quality.
For me, the goal of Revision Facelift surgery is not to make someone look dramatically different. It is to identify what has changed, understand what can realistically be improved, and create a result that feels refined, balanced, and appropriate for the patient.
For this patient, I saw Breast Augmentation as more than simply increasing volume. After pregnancy and breastfeeding, she wanted to restore upper pole fullness, improve symmetry, and regain proportions that felt natural to her body.
I carefully considered her existing breast tissue, chest dimensions, implant width, and projection before selecting the implant. Rather than focusing primarily on cup size, I chose an option that complemented her anatomy and reflected the result she wanted to achieve.
In her after photos, you can see restored fullness, improved balance, and a soft contour that complements her frame. My goal was for the added volume to integrate naturally with her existing tissue without creating an artificial appearance.
For me, results like this begin with understanding what the patient truly wants from surgery. I use those conversations, along with careful planning and implant selection, to create an outcome that feels consistent with her body and expectations.
A Tummy Tuck can represent more than a change in abdominal contour. For this patient, pregnancy and weight fluctuations had left behind loose skin and weakened abdominal muscles that remained despite her efforts with exercise.
I created a customized surgical plan to repair the abdominal muscles, remove excess skin, and improve waistline definition, addressing the structural changes that were contributing to the appearance of her abdomen.
Her after photos show a trimmer abdomen, smoother contours, and a more balanced silhouette. Just as importantly, these changes helped her feel more comfortable and confident in her body again.
I hear similar concerns from many women during consultation. I take the time to understand what each patient hopes to change and how those concerns affect her, then build a surgical plan that reflects her anatomy and individual priorities.
A Breast Lift with Implants can address two changes that often occur together: loss of breast position and loss of upper pole fullness. Pregnancy, aging, and weight fluctuations can gradually affect both shape and volume.
In this case, combining the procedures allowed us to approach each concern differently. The Breast Lift repositioned the natural breast tissue, while the implants restored fullness and helped improve the overall shape.
The before and after shows a more elevated breast position, improved upper pole fullness, and greater symmetry. The added volume works with the repositioned tissue to create proportions that complement her frame.
Cases like this require more than choosing an implant or deciding how much lift is needed. Each patient brings a different anatomy and history to the consultation, and taking the time to understand those details is what shapes the surgical plan.

Breast Augmentation is most successful when the focus extends beyond simply adding volume. For this patient, the priority was creating fuller, more balanced breasts while maintaining a natural appearance that complemented her frame.
Her personalized Breast Augmentation was planned around her existing anatomy, breast shape, and aesthetic goals. These factors helped guide the approach to improving volume while keeping the overall proportions harmonious.
The result shows enhanced fullness and improved breast shape, with proportions that feel balanced from both the front and profile views. The added volume complements her body without overwhelming her natural silhouette.
Every patient begins with a different foundation, which is why implant planning should reflect the individual rather than follow a standard formula. Beautiful results come from creating the right relationship between volume, shape, and the patient's natural proportions.

Facial aging can return gradually even after a previous procedure. For this 58-year-old patient, recurrent facial and neck laxity years after an earlier Face and Neck Lift called for a more comprehensive approach to restore support and balance.
Her revision facial rejuvenation combined a Brow Lift, Deep Plane Facelift, Upper Lip Lift, Deep Neck Lift, Fat Transfer, and CO2 Laser, with each procedure addressing a different component of facial aging.
Together, these techniques helped improve facial support, refine the jawline and neck, restore areas of lost volume, and improve skin quality. The result is greater definition and a refreshed appearance while maintaining her natural facial characteristics.
Revision surgery requires careful planning around both current anatomy and previous surgical changes. A comprehensive approach allows each element of treatment to work together, creating a result that feels balanced, cohesive, and naturally rejuvenated.

Pregnancy can leave lasting changes in both the breasts and abdomen, affecting volume, skin laxity, and overall body proportions. For this patient, those changes no longer reflected how she wanted to feel in her body.
Her personalized Mommy Makeover addressed the breasts and abdomen together, allowing the surgical plan to restore shape and create a more cohesive relationship between the upper and lower body.
The result shows improved body contour, breast shape, and overall proportions, creating a balanced, natural-looking silhouette rather than treating each area as an isolated concern.
A Mommy Makeover is ultimately about choosing the combination of procedures that makes sense for each patient's anatomy and priorities. Thoughtful planning allows the different areas to complement one another and create a result that feels balanced as a whole.
