Today at Secret Farmstead, we turned the kitchen into a full-blown soap manufacturing facility and cranked out 18 loaves of soap! 🫧

I even hired some help because apparently one person should not be responsible for this much soap. 😂

Our stock has been looking a little… embarrassingly empty lately, so I’m working hard to get those shelves filled back up. And guess what? There are some NEW scents in this batch! 👀

🐐 The goats have unionized... okay, not really... but they have decided milk production is currently above their pay grade. Since none of our girls are in milk right now, goat milk soap is completely unavailable, and we don't have an ETA on when they'll decide to get back to work. We're just over here respectfully waiting for the tiny supervisors to change their minds.

🥩 Our tallow inventory is looking a little like the cookie jar after a family reunion—pretty picked over. 😅 We're slowly building inventory back up as our recovery allows, so thank you for hanging in there with us while we get caught up.

I wanted to share a little update from my corner of the soap studio. I’m still recovering from a recent surgery, and while the healing process has included a few more plot twists than I ordered, I’m slowly but surely making my way back to soapmaking.

At the moment, online ordering is still on pause. My inventory is running pretty low, and between recovery naps, doctor appointments, and convincing my body to cooperate, I haven’t quite gotten everything restocked and updated yet. My goal is to have things up and running again within the next week or so.

If you have an urgent soap emergency (because running out of your favorite soap is clearly a crisis 😉), please reach out to me directly. I can let you know what I have available and help you get by until the website is back open.
