Body-First Wellness Coach
Helping women recover, move & thrive. Wellness • Movement • Coaching

The Wellness Path was established in 2020 by Mindy Ruddock.

The Wellness Path helps women understand, trust, and work with their bodies through recovery, movement, and practical guidance. Whether you're navigating pain, rebuilding strength, managing hypermobility, or simply ready to feel better in your body, you'll find support that's built around you—not a one-size-fits-all plan.

There's more behind the hour than you might realize.

Before you walk through my door, I've already been putting in the work.

Researching health conditions, reviewing client histories, planning individualized massage sessions, creating training programs, adapting exercises, developing classes, and preparing for coaching sessions.

I don't just pull from one technique or one area of expertise. I bring together years of education and hands-on experience in massage therapy, movement, dance, yoga, martial arts, and fitness.

That's MRM. My way of looking at the whole person, connecting the dots, and creating an experience that fits YOUR needs, not asking you to fit into a program.

Sometimes the most valuable part of my work is knowing what to do, what to change, and when to take a completely different approach.

You're not just getting my time. You're getting the experience, knowledge, preparation, and care I bring to that time.

And I take that responsibility seriously. Because you deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach.

A little love for Elecia and Elizabeth today!

Elecia just finished Gentle Warrior and is keeping things going with Your Kind of Strong, while Elizabeth is joining us for the first time!

I love seeing familiar faces continue to grow and new faces ready to begin. So happy to have you both!

Only 6 spots left! If you've been thinking about joining us, there's still room for you!

Change is good!

A little room reveal and some exciting changes at The Wellness Path!

I've been busy creating a new space that feels warm, cozy, and welcoming. A place to slow down, restore, and take some time for yourself.

But the changes go beyond the room! As The Wellness Path continues to grow, I'm putting more focus on personal training, corrective exercise, strength, mobility, and helping people better understand and feel confident in their bodies. Massage and recovery will always have a place, but there's so much more I want to share!

A quick schedule update: Beginning in January, I will no longer offer regular Saturday appointments. If we've already spoken, don't worry, you're all set!

I'm excited about where things are headed! Follow along as I share more about my services, new opportunities, and all the ways we can work together.

And if you haven't visited in a while, I'd love for you to stop by and see the new space!

You might be stronger than you think.

One of the best parts of teaching Gentle Warrior was watching people discover what they were capable of. Trying new movements, building confidence, and realizing that getting stronger doesn't have to mean pushing harder.

That's exactly what I want to continue with Your Kind of Strong, my new small-group program built around the Mindy Ruddock Method (MRM).

Maybe you've been wanting to get moving again but aren't sure where to start. Maybe traditional fitness classes haven't felt right for you, or your body has needs that aren't always understood.

That's why I teach with three movement paths. You get to challenge yourself, make adjustments, and find what works for YOU.

Our next six-week series starts October 29!

You don't need experience, and you don't need to be in shape before you begin.

I'd love to welcome you into the group. Message me with questions or to reserve your spot!

Let's discover your kind of strong.

Introducing Your Kind of Strong!

I've spent years working with people who want to feel stronger, move better, and feel more confident in their bodies. One thing I've learned is that there is no single right way to move, and there certainly isn't one definition of strong.

That's where the Mindy Ruddock Method (MRM) comes in.

MRM brings together my background in movement, fitness, corrective exercise, yoga, and bodywork with something I believe strongly in: movement should work for your body, not against it.

I'm excited to introduce Your Kind of Strong, a six-week small-group movement series built around that philosophy!

This isn't your typical fitness class. We'll explore strength, stability, balance, mobility, and body awareness through different styles of movement. Each exercise offers three paths, allowing you to find what works for your body and how you're feeling that day.

Whether you're managing a chronic condition, returning to exercise, working around physical limitations, or simply looking for a different approach to fitness, there's a place for you here.

And for those who just completed Gentle Warrior, this is an opportunity to keep building on everything you've already learned!

Our first series begins October 29!

Thursdays, 6:15–7:00 PM
October 29 – December 10
No class Thanksgiving
$149 for all six weeks
Limited to 8 participants

You don't need to be at a certain fitness level to begin. You just need to be willing to explore what your body can do.

Because strong looks different on everyone. Let's discover your kind of strong.

Registration is now open! Reach out for details or to reserve your spot.

A huge congratulations to our Gentle Warrior participants on completing their six-week journey!

Over the past six weeks, we've explored different ways to move, build strength, find balance, and most importantly, learn to work with our bodies instead of against them.

I've loved watching the progress, the confidence, and the willingness to try something new. Every person brought something different to the group, and that's exactly what made it so special.

But we're not stopping here!

I've been working on something that builds on everything we've explored, and I'm excited to share what's coming next.

Stay tuned. More details Saturday!

7:15 AM personal training about to start.

Wellness does not always look like a slow morning and a perfect routine.

Sometimes it looks like getting up early, showing up, moving your body, and doing something good for yourself before the rest of the day gets going.

Big props to my client for getting it in this morning.

And props to my husband for making sure I actually got up for it.

Coffee is doing its part too.

Some people see a lot of different hats.

I see years of learning how the body moves, adapts, recovers and responds.

Each piece of what I do has shaped the next. Massage changed how I look at movement. Movement changed how I look at strength. Martial arts, yoga, coaching and corrective exercise all gave me different ways to understand the person in front of me.

I don’t think wellness fits neatly into one box.

Your body, your stress, your strength, your recovery, your confidence... it all connects.

And that connection is really what The Wellness Path is about.

Wellness has gotten complicated.

Buy this. Try that. Book this. Follow this routine. Do more. Do less.

Somewhere in all of that, I think we’ve gotten a little too far away from what wellness was supposed to be in the first place: taking care of ourselves.
So I wanted to strip some of that away.

My newest Empowered in Motion article is about getting back to what wellness actually means for you, with a few simple practices for paid subscribers to help you explore that a little deeper.

What If Wellness Didn’t Have to Be So Complicated?

Why does wellness always have to be this or that?

Why can’t it be both?

Move your body and rest.
Strength and mobility.
Routine and flexibility.
Alone time and time with your people.
Cook at home and grab something easy.

Wellness doesn’t have to fit into one box.

What you need today might be different from what you needed yesterday. And that doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.

Sometimes wellness is pushing a little.
Sometimes it’s backing off.
Sometimes it’s having a plan.
Sometimes it’s changing the plan.

The goal isn’t to always choose the “better” option.

It’s learning to pay attention to yourself enough to know what you actually need.
