Lofi Skin
Performance skincare for people living life outside.
Well…isn’t that just bu****it.
The long awaited (lol, no) Moist Marine Mist needs to undergo some adjustments yet again…because the spray just isn’t…quite…right.
I do wish “good enough for normal ass people” were a thing I could handle.
Stick around, it’s better with you here.

I just can’t help myself…I don’t even care if anyone else thinks this is funny…I’m crying over here!
Side note - I love, love, LOVE Meadowfoam seed oil. Why? For one, is an Oregon native species! We get ours from a Portland local ingredient supplier, Shay and Company
Meadowfoam is also very sustainable-it’s a low impact crop that doesn’t require irrigation, tilling, or fertilizer, and is typically a rotation crop. And bees love it!
It’s a fast absorbing oil - it goes on easily and feels like it sinks into the skin rather than just sitting on top so it doesn’t feel greasy.
It’s also super shelf stable - meaning it doesn’t go rancid quickly at all, which helps ensure freshness and helps balance out less stable ingredients that might be in a formula, like rici…riciniccis…riri…f*ck it, castor oil.
Thanks, Jen Del Rosso for your sacrifices in this video 😆
Story time! Starting over at 46 is wild, and stupid, and brilliant, and horrifying, and everything.
This doesn’t happen without you! What do you want to know? And especially, what do you need that the skincare or outdoor markets aren’t giving you?

Only using products with ingredients you can pronounce is…tricky. And this is one of the easier ones…
Common names for ingredients are often not their official names. The ingredient list of “natural” products includes lots of words most of us aren’t pronouncing without a little…help. Just like synthetic ingredients.
Natural ingredients are also absolutely processed. And you want them that way. Ever tried to moisturize your skin with shea nuts? It doesn’t work. Don’t ask me how I know…
