Happy Juneteenth! Do you have your red drink ready? Let me help you out if you need an idea!

One thing about me? I’m always going to find a way to remix a recipe. 😄🌺

Our Hibiscus Wellness Tea is delicious straight from the bottle, but it’s also the perfect base for a refreshing mocktail.

Today, we added sparkling water, frozen berries, and a little ice for a bubbly summer treat that the whole family enjoyed.

The result? A drink that feels a little fancy, tastes amazing, and comes together in minutes.

Because wellness doesn’t have to be complicated—and sometimes joy looks like gathering around the kitchen, trying something new, and sharing it with the people you love. ❤️

If you pick up a bottle this weekend, tell me: Are you drinking it straight or creating your own remix?

🌺 Find us at the Hollins Community Farmers Market this weekend.

Did you know that red foods and drinks hold special significance during Juneteenth?

Across the African diaspora, red has long symbolized strength, resilience, sacrifice, and the bloodshed of our ancestors. From hibiscus tea and sorrel to red velvet cake and watermelon, red foods have become a meaningful part of Juneteenth celebrations.

This year, we’re honoring that tradition with our Kitchen Therapy Hibiscus Wellness Tea. 🌺

Made with hibiscus, ginger, lemon, cinnamon, clove, and sweetened with agave, it’s a refreshing way to celebrate culture, community, and wellness. Steeped with care and intention. It tastes good and is good for you!

Join us this weekend at the Hollins Street Farmers Market and grab a bottle while supplies last.

Kitchen Therapy with Jaree is coming to a farmers market near you! 🌺

You can usually find me holding space for therapy clients, leading food demos, or teaching workshops—but this weekend we’re dropping something special.

In honor of Juneteenth, we’ll be selling our signature Kitchen Therapy drink: Hibiscus Wellness Tea at !

Crafted with hibiscus, ginger, lemon, clove, cinnamon, and agave, this refreshing blend was created with the same intention that guides all of our work—nourishing the mind, body, and spirit.

And because everything we do is rooted in healing, every purchase helps support the delivery of mental health services and Kitchen Therapy wellness programming in our community.

Whether you’re celebrating Juneteenth, supporting local businesses, or simply looking for something refreshing to sip on, we’d love to see you.

Stop by, say hello, and grab a bottle (or two)! ❤️✨

Recently had the opportunity to lead a hybrid wellness session for a few hundred communications professionals focused on burnout, nervous system regulation, and sustainable performance. Some of us then transitioned into a breakout session that I led on food as a part of a sustainable wellness plan. There’s something powerful about feeling the relief of collective breath with a group of vigilant high performers.

One attendee shared afterward:
“We’ve heard a lot of speakers, but we’ve never done anything like this.”

That moment stayed with me.

People don’t just need productivity tools — they need space to reconnect with themselves. Burnout prevention and recovery must become part of how we support healthy, sustainable teams.

Grateful to continue bringing integrative wellness, mind-body education, and Kitchen Therapy experiences into corporate spaces. Open to more partnerships supporting employee wellness and burnout prevention.

Grateful for community partnerships to strengthen the work we do in the community!

Big thank you to Family League of Baltimore for supporting our Community Food Strategy Grant! 🌱

Our youth experienced Kitchen Therapy with Jaree, where food, mental health, wellness, culture, and hands-on cooking came together.

They prepared healthy snacks, explored self-care, and used microgreens grown right here in our indoor vertical garden.

Food is healing.
Food is culture.
Food is community.

Grateful for the support that helps us feed our young people in more ways than one. 💚
