PINEAPPLE GUIDE
Color = Golden, NOT green
fresh pineapples
Look for a rich yellow/golden base
Slight green is fine, but mostly green = underripe
Squeeze test
Should be firm with a slight give
Rock hard = not ready
Too soft/mushy = overripe
Leaf pull trick
Pull a center leaf from the crown
If it comes out easily → ripe If it resists → not ready yet
