MY STORY
It's intro time...

Hi, I'm Frankie! Skincare Formulator and Licensed Holistic Esthetician of this piece of the internet of xo Brown Girl. I created as a way to fill a void of non-toxic, results-oriented skincare for women of color. My goal was to empower and educate women of color who are too often given optimal choices within the beauty space. While there have been great strides for inclusivity, let's face it, we are often underrepresented and not considered when products are under development.

xo Brown Girl offers a plant-based option inspired by YOU and grounded in the skincare challenges women of color typically face - acne, hyperpigmentation, and dry skin. I saw a need threw my personal experience and developed skincare that is inclusive to melanin-rich skin that is otherwise left tone-deaf to the needs of black women.

SKIN HEALTH
Did you know your skin is unique? No, really!! It was made specifically for you. We each have a unique skin "fingerprint" if you will, that is unique to you. With that, it's important to use the right products to support your skin health. Too often, this can be confusing and overwhelming because there is so much to choose from. You shouldn't have to figure it out alone, which is why I offer one-on-one consultations to build a tailored routine and regimen that works for your skin.

NON-TOXIC
What does clean beauty really mean? Many brands use the terminology of "natural" or "clean" simply because they don't include such ingredients as parabens, sulfates, and formaldehyde. The truth is "natural" can be used so loosely and is subjective to the brand. Many of the harmful ingredients used by companies are simply because they are cheaper and easier to work with. Complete disregard for the consumers, but more concern for the bottom line. What clean means to me, is effective and non-toxic. I take health and quality very seriously and only use the purest ingredients to formulate products.

I want to thank you for being apart of my community and I look forward to helping you with your skincare needs.

We are changing things up...

But in a good way!

Virtual skin consultations have replaced our skin quiz and here's why:

Skin quizzes scratch the surface when it comes to helping you achieving your skin goals. It's a cookie-cutter surface-level solution.

Instead...

Virtual skin consultations offer personalized skincare advice tailored just for YOU. No more generic results, only solutions crafted to meet your unique needs. You get the opportunity to connect with a skincare expert (licensed esthetician here 👋🏾) in real-time to get instant answers, advice, and the guidance you deserve for your skin journey.

🪄If you you are ready to go beyond the surface, dive deep into your skin concerns, with an in-depth analysis that skin quizzes simply can't match. Tap the link in the bio to schedule a virtual skin consultation with yours truly.

There is no one-size-fits-all to acne. It's a complex condition that connect nutrition and wellness with skin health. This is why it's important to understand the WHY with your skin concerns to address the originating concern so that permanent solutions can be provided.

If you find you need help with nailing a routine for your oily/acne-prone skin? Tap the link in the bio. to schedule a complimentary virtual skin consultation to help you reach your skin goals. Hope this helps and feel free to drop any questions are concerns below in the comments!

For those of you who don’t know, I decided the later part of last year to enhance my knowledge of skin by enrolling in esthetician school. That chapter of my journey is coming to a close as I am currently prepping for state board testing to become a LICENSED esthetician. With that, I felt it was best to halt the production of products so that I can focus on studying and not neglect your needs.

What does this mean for you?

- I will be pausing any future orders effective Friday, July 14th at midnight EST.
- Any orders made between now and Friday will be processed and shipped that following Monday.
- I have discounted the entire site to 30% off as a token of my appreciation, your patience, and support.
- I don’t have a definite date as to when I will begin taking orders, but projected around mid-August.

How we can remain connected:

- Although production will be halted, I will still be present with tips and advice to caring for your skin.
- I just recently joined so if you want to be apart of a conversational space with no rules, feel free to join me there.
- Starting Monday, July 17th I will be scheduling for virtual skin consultations. So if you are looking for in-depth guidance with your skin, you can book a 30-minute chat with me (so excited to see your beautiful faces).
- Lastly, if you haven’t done so already you can grab my FREE guide to caring for your melanin-rich skin with a holistic approach.

If you have any questions, be sure to drop them below or send me a direct message I’d be more than happy to help. Now run and stock up on your faves before the site closes by clicking the link in bio.
