To anyone who is going through it right now, please hear me when I say this: you can go through hell and still come out shining. Don’t let what you’re going through convince you that your life is over. I’ve had so many people reach out to me telling me they’re grieving, they’ve been stuck in bed for years, or they’ve even thought about ending their life. That breaks my heart. I’m choosing to heal out loud because if sharing my journey helps even ONE person get out of that bed, take another breath, and believe there’s still life waiting for them, then I’ll keep showing up. I lost my child, and I’m still learning how to live with that kind of pain. Trust me, you have to be STRONG to keep getting up when your heart is shattered. Maybe God made me a Ta**us for a reason. I was equipped with the strength of a bull to carry what I’ve had to carry. 🐂💜 So if you’re going through it, grieve, cry, rest and fall apart when you need to. Just don’t give up on yourself. Your story isn’t over. Keep your light, keep shining and keep going! 💛💫🥰🦋🪽

I told him I was taking a picture, but really I was recording a video 😂 He tried to play it off like he knew the whole time! Gotta love this boy. I miss you so much, sweet boy! 🦋💛
For so many years, I was too busy being a 24/7 mom and caregiver to make time for the things I wanted to learn or experience. Now I’m taking this time to try new things, pick up new hobbies, and figure out what makes me happy outside of being a caregiver. 💜🦋💛

My oldest daughter surprised me today, and I got ALL my babies together for a 1 hour and 11 minute walk for Nate Dawg. 💛🦋

A little reminder: Be very careful when you choose to send negative messages involving someone’s children. You truly never know who you’re talking to, who knows who, or where someone comes from.
I clicked on this person’s profile after receiving a very unnecessary message about my children, only to realize that I was actually born and raised in the very same place she’s from, and I have plenty of friends and family there.
Small world, huh? 👀
You don’t have to like me or my content. You’re entitled to your opinion. What you don’t get to do is reach for my children, living or deceased, and expect me to just smile and accept it.
Be mindful of the words you choose when children are involved. You never know how close to home those words might actually land.
