It’s so easy to think the hospital is neutral territory when you walk in to have your baby. 😅

It’s not. And that’s not shade to providers — it’s just facts about how the system was designed. When your body is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do, the last thing you need is someone looking for a problem to solve.

That’s why we’re there. Not to fight — to protect the space your body needs to do its work.

Has a provider ever made you feel like something was wrong when everything was actually fine? Tell me in the comments. 👇🏾🌸

Your projected birth weight is not a prophecy. It’s an estimate — and often a wrong one.

Jetaime was told 8+ lbs. Baby came earthside at 6 lbs 7 oz.

Don’t let a number on an ultrasound talk you out of the birth you want. You won’t know how big your baby really is until you’re in the room having them.

Ask the questions. Push back on the fear. Trust the process.

19K of y’all🥹
We’re blessed and honestly a little overwhelmed — not just that you shared our story, but that you stayed for the rest of it.

Most of you met us from the video of us getting kicked out of a hospital while advocating for a mama who deserved better. That’s who we are at the core — we show up for families when the system doesn’t. But that’s not all we do. We’re redeeming the sanctity of birth in a culture that’s made it clinical. We’re training doulas and raising up birth workers who understand our community. And we’re empowering families to get educated and stay informed — through pregnancy, through birth, and every season after.

Here’s what we believe, plainly: birth is still God’s. We know the skills, the tips, the tricks — but we refuse to strip out the spiritual reality of it. Birth is holy. It’s beautiful. And it deserves to be treated that way.

Here’s to the next 19,000.

Birth isn’t broken. So stop trying to fix it like it is.

Somewhere along the way we started treating birth like a malfunction — something to manage, monitor, and rush through. But you weren’t given a body that needs to be fixed to bring life into the world. You were given one that was designed for it. 🌸

That’s not woo-woo. That’s not “just trust the process” naivety. That’s biology. That’s design. That’s God’s engineering — working exactly the way it was intended, long before hospitals existed.

The moment we stop treating birth like an emergency is the moment we start actually trusting it.

I don’t have many words for this one.

Cohort 7 wasn’t just a class — it became the blueprint for what Full Bloom Doula Training was always meant to be. We learned skills, yes. Birth, postpartum, advocacy, business. But somewhere in the lectures, the laughter, the prayers and the tears… we became sisters.

We witnessed healing. Spoke life over each other. Made room for one another to birth what God had been growing in secret — including me.

This is discipleship before mastery. Community before competency. Christ at the center of it all.

To these incredible women: thank you for saying yes. This wasn’t the end of your training — it was the beginning of your assignment. 🌸

Can’t wait to watch what God births through each of you.

It’s time to tell our story…

This one move works wonders for contraction pain!

This “hip push”, is a hands-on move your partner or doula can use during a contraction to relieve pressure right where you need it most. No epidural required, and no memorizing a textbook. Just steady hands and a little pressure in the right spot.

Save this now and make some time to practice it with your partner before your due date. That way, when that first real contraction hits, you’ll already know exactly what to do.

You were built for this. We’re just here to remind you.🤍

You ever notice how induction rates and C-section rates in this country track almost the same line? That’s not a coincidence. That’s a pattern.

We’re not here to scare you — we’re here to make sure you’re not finding this out for the first time on the table, mid-contraction, when it’s hardest to ask questions.
Every intervention offered to you deserves a question back: Why this? Why now? What happens if we wait? You’re allowed to ask. You’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to want to understand your own birth before you consent to it.

Knowledge is armor. And we believe He didn’t design you to walk into your birth unprotected.
Prepared, not just present. 🌸

Stop showing up to birth unprepared and calling it trusting God. 🛑

Faith and preparation are not opposites — they’re partners. God gave you doulas, birth educators, and a community for a reason. Use them.

Trusting God looks like walking into that delivery room informed, supported, and ready. 🌸

Drop a 🙋🏾‍♀️ if you wish someone had told you this before your birth.

Your doctor is managing your chart. Not your nervous system.

They’re not the ones who need to know how to breathe through a contraction, find the position that takes the pressure off your back, or stay grounded when things shift off script. That’s you. And your birth partner.

The hospital is running on protocol. You need to be running on preparation.

You train for the marathon. You train for the interview. You train for the promotion you want. Birth — the most physically demanding thing your body will ever do — deserves the same.

This is your body. Your labor. Your power. Prepared, not just present.

That’s what childbirth education is for. 👇🏽 Class info in bio.
