PRAISE REPORT! 🙌🏾✨

So back on June 9th, a customer booked a same day appointment at my salon. One of my amazing stylists came in to service him. I remember seeing him, walking past him, and greeting him just like I do with all of my customers and employees.

He got his hair done, loved the finished look, smiled about it, twirled around showing it off and everything else. Everything was good… or so I thought. 😂

Fast forward about 30 days and I get a notification from our payment processor saying he filed a chargeback claiming he was NEVER at the salon. 🤔

Now wait a minute 😂 You had me questioning myself like, “Did I see a ghost?! Did I imagine this whole man sitting in my salon?!” Because I KNOW I saw him. I spoke to him and he verbally said he liked his hair!

As a business owner, my first thought was still to make sure nothing went wrong on our end, so I reached out to him. Of course… no answer. 📵

Okay then! Time to go into BOSS LADY MODE! 💼👑

I pulled the camera footage and there he was! 😂 I submitted the footage along with our signed client forms, which also documented the IP address associated with his submission. Receipts on top of receipts! 🧾

Well today I received the good news! THE MONEY WAS RETURNED TO MY ACCOUNT! 🙌🏾💰 The claim was determined to be fraudulent and the processor even apologized on his behalf.

This is exactly why I tell business owners to DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Have your forms. Keep your records. Protect your business. You never know when you are going to need them.

As for him? Sometimes you just have to pray for people, wish them well and KEEP IT PUSHING. 🙏🏾

Anyhoo 😂 Ladies and gentlemen, come experience the REAL thing!

This morning…

First: “Mom, where’s my lunch?” 😒🍱

Second: Hair tutorial with Mr. Jones

Third: Fit check

Then right before getting out: “Mom, I’m about to lock in!” 🎯

That’s exactly what I love to hear! Stay focused, work hard, and keep chasing those goals. And Savannah… girl, you’re gonna have you a good one one day! 🤣❤️

Special shoutout to KENNESAW BARBER • Will F. for getting my baby’s haircut together! 💈👏 This was a whole new chapter. He wanted this look because he wanted to start over by cutting his old hair and growing his hair back out, and Will understood the assignment. But now he’s talking about, “Mom, I might keep it cut. I love it!” 😂 Honestly… that old mess was looking a HOT MESS anyway! 🤣

Have an amazing first day, son. Keep God first, keep those grades up, and continue being the incredible young man you are.

7th Grade, y’all! 🥹💙📚 LockIn BackToSchool

Jones + Jones = 3 Years ❤️

Three years ago, we said “I do,” and God has been writing our story ever since.

Marriage hasn’t been about being perfect, I t’s been about choosing each other every single day. Through the laughter, the challenges, the lessons, the prayers, and the countless memories, we’ve continued to grow stronger together.

Thank you for being my peace when life gets loud, my biggest supporter, and the one who reminds me that love is shown through actions just as much as words. We’ve built a home filled with faith, family, and purpose, and I don’t take a single moment of it for granted.

To another year of growing together, covering one another in prayer, chasing our dreams, laughter, and creating even more memories with our family.

God knew exactly what He was doing when He brought us together.

Happy 3rd Anniversary to us. 🤍

Here’s to forever, Mr. Jones. I love you. Mr. Jones
