**ONE CORE INGREDIENT. MORE TO UNDERSTAND.**
What is bovine colostrum? What does **40% IgG** mean? And where do peptides and amino acids fit?
Let’s open up **EVOKE RESET™.** →
**01 — THE FOUNDATION**
RESET™ starts with bovine colostrum—the first milk cows produce after calving. It naturally contains a complex mixture of proteins, nutrients and other biological components.
RESET™ is our colostrum-only formula. ReBALANCE™ pairs colostrum with alfalfa.
**02 — WHAT 40% IgG ACTUALLY MEANS**
We use colostrum standardized to **40% Immunoglobulin G by weight**.
IgG is an antibody protein naturally found in bovine colostrum.
The math: **1 gram of that colostrum ingredient corresponds to 400 mg IgG.**
That percentage describes the ingredient’s concentration. It does not describe absorption or the total weight of a finished capsule.
**03 — THERE’S MORE THAN IgG**
Bovine colostrum also contains proteins such as lactoferrin and caseins, along with milk lipids, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Research has identified naturally occurring growth factors in colostrum, too.
Their amounts and retained activity depend on sourcing and processing; the ingredient profile alone doesn’t establish a specific effect from the finished supplement.
**04 — THE BUILDING BLOCKS**
Amino acids link together to form peptides and proteins.
During digestion, proteins break down into smaller peptides and amino acids. Your body uses absorbed amino acids to build its own proteins.
**Know the ingredient. Understand the percentage. Ask what’s behind the label.**
Save this guide, and tell us which RESET™ ingredient question you want answered next.

🟡 PEPTIDES: SHORT CHAINS, DIFFERENT JOBS
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Some act as biological messengers, binding to receptors on cells and influencing their responses. Others have different functions.
Their sequence, structure and ability to reach their target matter—which is why finding a peptide in colostrum and proving its effect after swallowing it are separate questions.

**WHAT’S INSIDE ReBALANCE™? LET’S OPEN IT UP.**
Two core ingredients. A lot worth understanding.
**EVOKE ReBALANCE™ combines bovine colostrum standardized to 40% IgG with alfalfa.** Swipe through to explore what each brings to the formula. →
**THE COLOSTRUM SIDE**
Bovine colostrum is the first milk cows produce after calving. Its natural composition includes antibody proteins such as IgG, along with lactoferrin, caseins, other proteins, and nutrients.
What does **40% IgG** mean?
IgG stands for Immunoglobulin G. At 40% by weight, **1 gram of our colostrum ingredient corresponds to 400 mg IgG.** That’s the colostrum ingredient’s concentration—not the percentage of the entire ReBALANCE™ blend.
**THE ALFALFA SIDE**
Alfalfa brings a plant component to the formula. Whole alfalfa naturally contains leaf proteins, chlorophyll, carotenoids, fiber, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium. The amounts retained depend on the ingredient’s processing.
**WHERE DO AMINO ACIDS AND PEPTIDES FIT?**
Amino acids are building blocks. Link them together and you form peptides and proteins.
During digestion, proteins break into smaller peptides and amino acids. Your body uses absorbed amino acids to build its own proteins.
**RESET™ is colostrum only. ReBALANCE™ pairs colostrum with alfalfa.** That’s the core ingredient difference.
This carousel explores reported ingredient components; it isn’t a measurement of every component or its activity in the finished formula.
**Know what you’re taking. Understand what’s behind the label.**
Save this breakdown and drop your colostrum or alfalfa questions below. We’re opening up the science, one post at a time.

🐎 LET’S TALK ABOUT “EQUINE PEPTIDES” — BECAUSE PEPTIDES ARE NOT ALL THE SAME THING.
I’m seeing more conversation in the horse industry around BPC-157, TB-500 and other investigational peptides, and I think horse owners deserve a much deeper conversation than:
“Peptides are the future.”
Because peptide biology is not the future.
It is already happening inside your horse every second.
Peptides are essentially biological messengers — short chains of amino acids that can participate in signaling between cells and biological systems.
That distinction matters.
There is a major difference between introducing an isolated investigational peptide compound into a horse and providing nutrition that naturally contains peptides, proteins, amino acids, immunoglobulins, growth factors and other bioactive compounds.
Those are two VERY different approaches.
And this is exactly why I developed EVOKE the way I did.
I didn’t want to build another supplement around one trendy ingredient.
I wanted to understand the biological foundation first.
THE BODY ALREADY HAS A SIGNALING SYSTEM.
Your horse already uses complex biological communication involving:
• peptides
• proteins
• amino acids
• growth factors
• immune signaling molecules
• hormones
• enzymes
• minerals
• vitamins
• fatty acids
• hundreds of other nutritional and bioactive compounds
They do not operate independently.
Biology works as a network.
That is one reason our foundational formulas begin with 40% IgG bovine colostrum.
Colostrum is not simply “protein powder.”
It is an extraordinarily complex biological food containing naturally occurring proteins, peptides, immunoglobulins, amino acids, growth factors and other bioactive components.
Then, depending on the formula, we build additional nutritional support around that biological foundation.
And this is where my philosophy differs from the “one peptide = one problem” conversation.
I am far more interested in asking:
What does the entire biological system need in order to function normally?
Instead of:
What single signal can I introduce to try to force a particular response?
That DOES NOT mean emerging peptide research should be ignored.
Research matters.
BPC-157 matters as a research topic.
TB-500 matters as a research topic.
But “being researched” and “being an established equine therapy” are not the same statement.
And when we are talking about competition horses, owners also need to understand the medication and anti-doping rules governing their particular discipline before putting anything into that animal.
There is another distinction I think this industry desperately needs to understand:
A naturally occurring peptide inside a food-derived biological matrix is not automatically equivalent to an isolated synthetic or investigational peptide compound.
Same word.
Very different context.
I work with this biology every day while developing EVOKE formulas, and the deeper I get into it, the less interested I become in chasing individual signals.
Because the body is not one pathway.
The gut talks to the immune system.
The immune system talks to tissue.
Nutrients influence enzymes.
Amino acids become building material.
Peptides participate in communication.
Everything overlaps.
That is biological communication.
And THAT is the conversation I want horse owners to start having.
Not:
“What peptide should I give my horse?”
But:
“What does my horse need to support the entire biological system?”
There is some fascinating peptide research happening.
We should absolutely follow it.
We should ask questions.
We should demand good evidence.
But we should also stop acting as though peptide biology suddenly appeared because somebody put BPC-157 into a vial.
Your horse has been speaking peptide biology its entire life.
🐎 DON’T CHASE THE SIGNAL.
SUPPORT THE SYSTEM.

Protein. Peptide. Amino Acid.
These words get used together all the time, but they are not the same thing.
Here’s the simple breakdown:
- Amino acids are the individual building blocks.
- Peptides are short chains of amino acids.
- Proteins are larger, more complex structures made from amino acids.
That matters because bovine colostrum is not just one thing.
A quality colostrum-based supplement can contain naturally occurring:
- proteins
- peptides
- amino acids
- immunoglobulins
- growth factors
- additional supportive bioactive compounds
So when people ask, “Is colostrum a protein?”
The better answer is:
Colostrum contains proteins, but it also contains peptides, amino acids, and other supportive compounds.
That bigger picture is important.
And then there’s alfalfa.
We added alfalfa because it brings another layer of support through naturally occurring phytonutrients, chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, and plant compounds that complement a foundational wellness formula.
When you swallow protein, your body breaks it down into smaller peptides and amino acids. Your body then uses those building blocks where needed.
That’s why this conversation should be bigger than buzzwords.
ReBALANCE™ was built around that idea:
40% IgG bovine colostrum + alfalfa
to help support a stronger daily foundation.
Don’t chase the signal. Support the system.

Day 1 — WHY BEEF TALLOW WORKS
TALES FROM THE KITCHEN — SKIN BIOLOGY
Why beef tallow?
Because skin has a barrier, and that barrier relies heavily on lipids.
Tallow gives us a rich, lipid-based foundation that helps condition dry skin, soften rough areas, and support moisture retention.
That’s why GLOW starts with grass-fed & finished beef tallow.
Then we pair it with:
raw honey + raw coconut oil.
Three ingredients. Each one has a job.
We didn’t choose tallow because it became trendy.
We chose it because the biology makes sense.
Tallow works because biology works.

TALES FROM THE KITCHEN — SKIN BIOLOGY
People hear beef tallow and think old-school, greasy, or overhyped.
We hear something different.
We hear skin biology.
This series is about why tallow works, and the answer is simple:
because skin has a barrier.
That barrier depends on fats, lipids, and structure.
When skin feels dry, rough, stressed, or out of balance, sometimes it doesn’t need more noise.
It needs the right materials.
That’s why we built GLOW around a simple, intentional foundation:
Grass-fed & finished beef tallow
Raw honey
Raw coconut oil
Not because it’s trendy.
Not because it sounds good on a label.
Because it makes sense.
What this post is really about:
1. Why beef tallow works
Because healthy skin depends on a healthy barrier.
2. This isn’t about grease
It’s about supporting the skin with ingredients that make biological sense.
3. Skin is built on lipids
And tallow helps support what skin already depends on.
4. Dry skin is often a barrier issue
Which means better support matters.
5. Skin doesn’t need more hype
It needs the right materials.
That’s the thinking behind EVOKE Skin Biology.
Less hype. More function.
Support the barrier. Support the skin.
If you want, we can break down each formula next:
GLOW • MAG • EMBER • REBUILD
Which one do y’all want us to open up next?

Your horse is being offered peptide injections.
But here’s the question we think every horse owner deserves to ask:
Where is the validated equine therapeutic protocol?
Peptides like BPC-157 and TB-500 are talked about constantly for tendon recovery, ligament injuries, inflammation and performance.
But when you start digging into the actual horse research, the story gets a lot more complicated.
TB-500 has been administered to horses in published research. One well-documented study administered a single 10 mg dose—but the researchers were developing a method to detect TB-500 and its metabolites for doping control. They were not establishing a tendon-healing dose, loading phase, maintenance schedule or long-term treatment protocol.
ScienceDirect
And despite BPC-157 protocols circulating online, direct controlled equine evidence remains extremely limited; I could not verify an established horse-specific therapeutic dose, frequency or duration from controlled equine trials.
High Peptides +1
That doesn't mean peptide research isn't interesting.
It means we need to distinguish between:
“Someone has a protocol.”
and
“This protocol has been validated in horses.”
Those are two very different statements.
Before putting something into your horse, ask:
What equine study established the dose?
What established the frequency?
What established the duration?
Where is the long-term equine safety data?
Was effectiveness actually demonstrated in horses?
We aren't afraid of science.
We want MORE of it.
Because your horse deserves better than a protocol copied from somewhere on the internet.
Real questions. Better answers. A stronger tomorrow.
