CHYNAZAN exists to flourish public health in Zanzibar and outside Zanzibar especially in rural areas. Goal:
Promote health and prevent diseases in Zanzibar. Key Objectives:
1) To undertake finances, aids, support, assist, promote, manage, research and encourage project or programs concerned or dealing with situation of community hygiene and nutrition.
2) To sensitize and mobilize community individuals and groups on understanding and application of hygiene and nutrition strategies.
3) To sustain the network of communication among community health practitioners/stakeholders.
4) To conduct meetings and central campaigns for improving hygiene and nutrition of Zanzibaris and support proper implementation of community health prevention policy.
