Sub: Comradeship Advice To Opposition Soldiers And Commanding Officers Over The Use Of Social Media.

Date: 21/4/2026.

From: Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual

This note serve as a comradeship advice to opposition forces in greater Upper Nile, Equatoria and Bahr El-Ghazal to minimize or heavily restrict their social media use that could compromise military operations.

I humbly urges all soldiers and commanding officers to exercise discipline while using social media, irresponsible media statements attract consequences and poses significant security threats to the forces and movement at large.

However, sharing photos, videos, locations, military coordinates and casualties endangers personnel and mission success.

The officers are required to channel all public statements, media interviews and official information through designated military media offices, to ensure that information is consistent, coordinated and aligned with organizational goals.

Take this, Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual will be there soon.

Signed:

Lt. Col Nyang Gony G*i, Press Secretary in the Office of Interim Chairman and Commander in Chief.
