The longer I work with custom packaging, mas lalo kong nare-realize na hindi talaga siya as simple as design, print, then done.
Ang dami palang nangyayari before you get to the final product.
1. Every packaging project is really different.
Kahit sabihin nating pareho silang box or paper bag, iba yung product, size, branding, budget, and purpose. Kaya hindi rin pwedeng same solution lang for everyone.
2. Hindi lahat ng magandang idea, feasible agad.
May times na ang ganda ng peg ni client, pero once we check the actual structure or production process, kailangan pala ng adjustments. Hindi naman ibig sabihin hindi na pwede. We just have to find a better way to make it work.
3. Material really matters.
Dati parang simple lang, makapal or manipis. 😅 Pero ang dami palang kailangan i-consider. Ano yung product? Gaano kabigat? Anong structure? Anong look yung gusto? And syempre, pasok ba sa budget?
4. Mas okay talaga maglaan ng time before production.
Discussion, mock-up, testing, adjustments… minsan gusto na natin i-skip dahil excited or nagmamadali. Pero mas okay nang may ma-correct ngayon kaysa kapag hundreds or thousands na yung naproduce.
5. And hanggang ngayon, you never really stop learning.
May mga projects pa rin na mapapaupo kami at mapapaisip ng, “Okay, paano kaya natin ito gagawin?”😂 And I actually enjoy that part.
Every project gives us something new to figure out, and I think that’s one of the reasons why I still enjoy being in this industry.

I’m learning more to have an abundance mindset.
Dati, kapag may bagay akong gusto, automatic minsan yung, “Ang mahal naman. Hindi ko kailangan ’yan. Okay na ’to.”
But I learned to slowly change the way I think.
Instead of saying, “Hindi ko afford ’yan,” I ask myself, “What can I do so I can afford it comfortably?”
Instead of thinking, “Hanggang dito lang kaya ko,” I remind myself na pwede pa akong mag-grow, earn more, learn more, and achieve more.
And if I want something and I know I can comfortably afford it, okay lang bilhin. Hindi ko kailangan ma-guilty for allowing myself to enjoy the things I worked hard for.
For me, abundance mindset doesn’t mean spending beyond your means or pretending you have more than you actually do.
It’s believing that what you have and where you are today don’t have to be your limit.
Pwede kang maging grateful sa kung anong meron ka ngayon while still wanting more for yourself and your family.
You can enjoy what you have now and still work for something bigger.
You can be content without limiting yourself.
You can dream bigger without feeling guilty about it.
And I think that’s something I’m slowly unlearning too. Hindi kailangan mamili between being grateful and wanting more.
I can be genuinely thankful for the life I have now while still believing that there’s so much more I can become, achieve, give, and experience. 🤍

Lately, isa sa mga natututunan ko talaga is to let go and let God.
Hindi natin control lahat ng nangyayari sa paligid natin. We can plan everything, do our best, and still, may mga bagay talagang hindi mangyayari the way we expected.
And I’m slowly learning to be okay with that.
What we can control is how we respond. Our emotions, our decisions, the way we treat people, and what we choose to do next.
Hindi lahat kailangan pilitin. Hindi lahat kailangan maintindihan agad. And not everything needs an immediate answer.
Sometimes, you just have to do what you can, surrender what you can’t, and trust that God sees the bigger picture even when you don’t.
Less worrying about things I cannot control. More faith, more gratitude, and more peace with where I am right now.
Let go. Let God. And keep moving forward. 🤍
Ang satisfying makita na yung dating idea lang, nagagamit na ngayon as an actual system. 🥹
After all the testing, adjusting, and figuring things out, finally sharing our quotation calculator with the team.
One thing I’m learning sa business, hindi lang pala about working harder. A big part of growth is finding ways to make things clearer, easier, and more efficient for everyone.
“Titingin lang tayo.” 😂
But seriously, putting this here as one of those little moments I want to look back on someday.

Hindi na talaga normal yung tingin ko sa packaging ngayon. 😂
Instead na product lang yung tinitingnan ko, automatic napapansin ko na rin yung material, print, finishing, structure, pati kung paano ginawa.
Minsan mapapaisip pa ako, “Pwede kaya namin 'to gawin?”

Today, I just feel grateful.
Hindi naman perfect ang life, and honestly, marami pa rin akong hindi alam at gusto pang matutunan. There are still days na napapagod, nagdududa, at tinatanong ko sarili ko kung tama ba lahat ng ginagawa ko.
But looking at my life today, I realized… ang dami na rin palang nangyari, nagbago, at pinagdaanan.
I’m building a business, building a family, raising a little human, trying new things, meeting new people, and slowly becoming a version of myself na hindi ko rin inexpect years ago.
This year, I don’t want to ask for more just for the sake of having more.
I just want to be more present. To take care of myself too. To keep learning, creating, helping, and building, but without forgetting to actually enjoy the life I’m working so hard for.
Thankful for another year, for the people I get to share this life with, and even for the parts that are still a work in progress. 🤍
Here’s to growing, but not rushing. ✨
Usually nagsisimula lang sa, “Magkano po box?” 😅
Pero hindi rin kasi ako makapagbigay agad ng sagot without knowing more about the product.
Kaya madalas marami talaga akong tanong. Ano yung product? Gaano kalaki at kabigat? Paano siya gagamitin? May peg ba sila? Anong quantity and budget?
Kasi minsan, yung packaging na gusto natin visually, hindi pala siya yung pinaka-practical for the actual product.
And this is something I’ve learned to appreciate sa ginagawa ko. Hindi lang pala kami nandito para magbigay ng presyo or gumawa ng box.
Part of our job is to listen first, understand what the client needs, then help them find an option that actually works for their product and their business.
Kaya if ever marami kaming tanong bago mag-quote, promise, may reason. 😂

Attended Pink Play Club yesterday and ang refreshing lang to do something different from the usual work and business events.
Yoga, playtime, meeting new people, and just enjoying the moment.
Minsan pala kailangan din talaga natin ng days na hindi kailangan maging productive. Just be present, have fun, and enjoy. ✨
